Fantastic little café. Most of the items can be made gluten free. The standard breakfast was really good and the sausages are gluten free! Us coeliacs often have to miss out on the sausages so it was a nice treat.

Popped in to celebrate St Davids day with the Welsh breakfast, and it was excellent. Very good food, quick friendly service and a nice little building, recommended

Sunday lunch beautifully cooked. Presentation spot on. Very clean. Great staff and lots of home cooked food. No dogs allowed upstairs which is perfect when eating food.

What a lovely cafe. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The salmon and scrambled eggs on toast was absolutely delicious, as was the bacon and cheese baguette. All very good quality ingredients and plenty of it. Coffee was great too. Excellent value for money - we will be visiting here again.

The cutest place and the warmest service I've experienced in a while (and that's a high bar!)- they even let me swap out my toast for Welsh oat cakes (and it is a definite must-try).

Called in for a snack, cheese on toast and as you can see served a delight. Staff full of smiles and nothing was a problem. Lovely experience.

This cafe used to be called bwythn y bwyd and you can see it still listed on Google maps. I've tried updating it but it's not updating the name. I've reviewed this place under that Google listing and now I'm starting another. They deserve to be found and supported. So I'm adding the same photos here so you can see it's a great little cafe and it's open. Dog Friendly downstairs. Great food. Recommend the Welsh breakfast and the bacon and sausage sandwich. Great value and cooked really well, quality meat. This was November 2021 off season menu. It's breakfast all day!!

Update October 2022. Still fantastic. Sausages and bacon still excellent quality. Welsh breakfast now £8.50 and the sandwich was £5. Nom nom nom.

Had the best Welsh breakfast here during my first visit to the beatiful St Davids, lavabread and cockles were cooked to perfection yummy struggled to finish the cockles (few too many for me). Staying in a lovely cottage opposite i can see why this friendly cafe is so popular. And waiting for it to open for our last breakfast before returning home 🥺 .Sad to be leaving this lovely friendly village but we only live over an hour away so we will be back soon Catherine Mick and Meryl the dog from Gowerton Swansea (gods country).❤

Absolutely the best coffee in the area, the staff really know how to get the best out of their espresso machine. Eggs Benedict was excellent too. Be advised, because it's great here.....it's busy, even out of season 🙂👍

Wonderful cafe in a back street, which we found on a local's recommendation, as everywhere else in St David's seemed to be closed.
We had a delicious breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, the service was amazingly prompt and the food was beautifully cooked.

THE best breakfast I've ever eaten out! Everything was cooked to perfection and piping hot.. bravo to whoever cooked on my birthday Sat 26th March ☺ What a lush place, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, the choice on the menu 👌🏼 can't recommend enough.. my partner even chose 2 breakfasts because he couldn't choose 😂 the build your own breakfast was perfect for my son who doesn't like everything that normally comes with a breakfast. Can't wait to visit again!

Popped in to the mill cafe today for breakfast while on my tour of the uk, me and my friend Dave had a large full English breakfast, honestly it was the tastiest full English iv every had, complements to the chef, very friendly staff, and the cafe was absolutely spotlessly clean and had an chilled out atmosphere..

One of the nicest breakfasts I've had,everything tasted great and very reasonably priced.

Vegetarian breakfast this morning. Hit the spot beautifully, although the eggs benedict delivered to two adjacent tables will definitely be my order next time. My wife had a “build your own” breakfast was equally satisfied. All served by lovely friendly staff.

Dog friendly cafe. Super staff. Good service. Good choice of food. A bit of a wait for the food but everything is prepared fresh. Definitely worth seeking out.

What a great find. Food is lovely, service efficient and friendly and the (flat white) coffee is the best we’ve had on our road trip through South Wales.

The service was amazing, and the food was even better I had a tuna and coleslaw sandwich but the carrot cake I recommend. It melts in the mouth. The baguette with ham and cheese was delicious also.
