Was so grateful that space was made so we could eat here. The food was great, Steak and Ale Pie and a special pulled pork chips. Both were really tasty. We were made to feel very welcome, and our 2 dogs were so quiet nobody noticed them until we left. Peach and Archie were made a fuss of. Super dog friendly!

Thank you..

Tasty food, very dog friendly and good atmosphere inside. The staff were welcoming and the whole family really enjoyed their meals. Would recommend for anyone visiting Mathry or the surrounding area; there’s not a lot of dog friendly+food pubs around in Pembrokeshire, but this place was a delight. Will definitely be coming again soon. 👍

We visited the Farmers Arms last night. We received a friendly greeting by a man who assumed was the landlord. Chose a table and made ourselves comfortable. The pub was warm and welcoming with a well stocked bar. I had three perfectly poured pints of Guinness, which I managed to split the Go on the first pint. The landlord took our orders and a young waiter laid the table with cutlery and condiments. The food arrived and looked very nice. I ordered the fish pie which was delicious. My wife had the vegan pie which she also enjoyed.

The service was excellent, the food tasty and the atmosphere was cosy and friendly. I would defiantly recommend a visit to this establishment.

Stopped in for a drink, well kept ale. Couldn’t fit us in for food, but recommended lots of other places to try, so amazing service. Make sure you book ahead to get a table!

Warm welcome, good beers, great home cooked food.
Reasonable prices for great food, the chips are amazing too.
Home made soup of the day is also extremely tasty as well.
Highly recommend

Proper welsh pub, with an interestingly wide range of food. Friendly local people and service make it a lovely place. Dogs are allowed too.

We had a great meal here recently on the first evening of our holiday.

The food was great, you got lots for your money, and the girl who served us was absolutely lovely too!

Cracking pub grub and well kept beer, both at reasonable prices. Generous portions on the food and service was friendly too. Good and clear Covid restrictions in place.

Stayed a few yards from this pub for a week and drank and / or ate there most days. This is a thoroughly welcoming, warm, local pub that attracts a good crowd of visitors and locals. There's a great selection of real ales and premium lagers and the food is excellent, homemade fayre.

The staff are hard-working and friendly. If your idea of a good pub and pub food is a national chain it might not be to your liking - the food will be uncustomarily fresh and the beer pulled from well kept barrels! But if you appreciate good, homely food, a decent pint and traditional pub surroundings, well - you'll be laughing. Thanks for your hospitality.

Friendly staff with good decor and atmosphere. Food was decent and tasty and priced as per region....not cheap but not as expensive as other pubs we'd visited.

Had a lovely meal with extended family at short notice here at the farmers arms. Full marks for quick and friendly service and fitting us in! We had gone for Sunday lunch, but it was sold out, as it is very popular!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary (46 years) with a Sunday roast. Ample food portions, with thick meat slices.
We were early, but we were seated and served before our alloted time. Staff were polite and helpful.

Came across this pub completely by accident but it’s a great little pub. My partner is a vegan and they were very helpful with the food choices. The food was really good with large portions (and very reasonably priced). They had a good selection of ales but, unfortunately, driving meant it had to sample the Diet Coke which I can happily report was perfectly fine. Recommended.

Lovely friendly country pub. They totally dog friendly, you can take him inside into the bar. Not like some " dog friendly " place, where you have to sit outside, ok if its a warm sunny day, not so if its cold and wet.
Great food, large portions, quick service. Friendly staff. Will return before we go home.

Lovely stop for lunch, great service, friendly bar man. Fantastic food considering he was the only person working, was doing bar and kitchen, highly recommended, thank you!
