A fantastic little cafe with excellent service. After browsing the bookshops on the town, we were ravenous. We had bacon and sausage baps, the best I've eaten in many a days' march, followed up with a lovely slice of cake each and a great steaming mug of hot chocolate. The lady in the cafe was friendliness personified.
Highly recommended, well worth a visit.

Fabulous mansize breakfast, coffee and amazing service from the young lady who couldn’t have been more helpful.
Such incredible value for money and all served with a smile and genuine banter and interest.
Honestly the best breakfast I’ve enjoyed in many a long day.

Top cooked breakfast and great chat with the regulars. Fantastic place well worth a visit. Try one of Angie’s cakes as well!

Warm and welcoming staff; generous bacon baps & delicious sausage baps; good strong tea. Seats in and out. Pretension & fussiness free. Great!

Wonderful traditional little cafe with unpretentious menu, very nice home cooked food at sensible prices and in proper portions. Best of all was the friendliness and humour behind the counter. If I didn't live 1200 miles away I'd be in 3 times a week, so if you are in Hay don't miss it...

Lovely full English even after breakfast had ended. Great bit of humor on the walls. Nice and friendly staff. Cakes looked very tasty. Definitely recommend this little spot.

quite simply the best value sandwich in town £3.20 for a white roll full of salad and ham absolutely delicious!

What a gem! When someone goes out of their way to provide service like setting up a table on the pavement for 4 hungry cyclists, you know you've struck gold! Good food, much needed.

If you want a nice relaxing tea or coffee and the cake is great to. the service is 100% and the staff are very nice all the food looks lovely aswell check it out.i call there on my bike when we are out cycling 😊🚴‍♂👍👌
