Jimmy was very polite, always on time from the day he came down for the quote and then sending me the quote within 2 hrs. The quote was very reasonable too. Very honest and transparent from the get go, explaining every step of the process, asking me exactly which materials i wanted to achieve my look. Went above and beyond to make my sure pitched porch roof was completed in one day as i was on a very tight deadline. After care was top too. Definitely will use ward home improvements again for future work and would 100% recommend

We had Ward Home Improvements replace our roof, install new guttering and roof/loft insulation. They were extremely friendly, polite and respectful. The work was carried out to an excellent standard with upmost professionalism - we are super pleased and would without a second of a doubt recommend and use Ward Home Improvements.

These guys repaired my flat roof and did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. A nice bunch of fellas and cleaned up afterwards. Would highly recommend.

Jimmy and his team were professional trades. Competitive quote. Great communication. Turned up and delivered exactly what I asked.

Re pointing of all ridge tiles,replace damaged slates,re alignment of guttering re pointing of wall due to guttering incorrectly set and removed all moss from North side of roof.Martin and Jimmy were prompt with estimates and booking the job.The 2 lads came around 9.00am and completed the lot by around 18.30.Clean tidy no mess and nothing was a problem.

We recently had ward home improvements to carry out new guttering and fascia’s. They did an outstanding job and were very efficient. They left everywhere clean and tidy when they were finished and it has giving our house a nice facelift. I would highly recommend to anyone

Had a full re-roof,fascia's,guttering & downpipes carried out by Wards recently as well as extra insulation to the loft.The work was carried out in a professional and timely manner the team explaining all the time how things were progressing.The one day when the weather forced an early finish they were back the next day working extra hours to keep the job on track.Martin, Jimmy and the lads are proud of their work and reputation and I would thoroughly recommend them.

I have used Wards twice now for roof repairs on my house in Westerton..They do an excellent job. They are prompt they do the job thoroughly and nothing is too much trouble. I would certainly use them again if needed and recommend them to anyone.

Had some guttering/drainpipe work carried out by Wards in early January and can’t speak highly enough of the service provided. From ringing for an estimate, to completion of the work was a very prompt and professional set up. Great set of lads carried out the work very friendly and thorough, the work was carried out in very good time and not a scrap of mess left when the work was complete. We would definitely use them again if needed and would recommend to others as well.

Ward Home Improvements are without doubt the best builders I have dealt with over the past 20+ years.

We are now hiring then again to renovate the inside of the house.

Their attention to detail, professionalism was outstanding. They showed me the work at each stage and ensured that each part was completed to a very high standard – even the parts that were not visible from the ground.

They were always friendly and courteous, cleaned up after themselves each day and arranged for the skip and scaffolding to be removed as quickly as possible.

I am would recommend them to anyone.

Additionally....

a few weeks later, after replacing or house roof, we asked them to put a solid insulated roof on our conservatory. Our conservatory is large and has a complex roof with several ridges and a valley. They worked carefully to ensure to the new roof fitted perfectly and the lights were just where we wanted them. They fitted an extra 10 spots lights and didn’t charge a penny for them.

They cleaned up thoroughly afterwards and ensured we were happy with everything.

As they were finishing a window handle broke in our house – nothing to do with them – but they promptly replaced several handles for us at no extra cost.

I used Ward for replacing a garage roof with a rubber roof after storm damage and later again for replacing my main house roof as part of routine preventative maintenance.

When the storms hit it was hard to find a roofer but Ward were still very reasonably priced despite the undoubted extra demand during that month and are always professional.

For my house roof which was around a year later we talked it all through beforehand, the quote was accurate and when it came to implementation everything was quick and they organised it all. The workers are again all pleasant and unobtrusive so disruption was at a minimum. I work from home and have a toddler around and barely even noted any disruption at all.

I dread to think how many years it'd been since the roof was done before I moved in and it feels good, job done and I can sleep now every time there's a storm!

We used Ward Home Improvements to replace our leaking Felt Roof with a new Rubber sealed covering on the clubhouse at the Miniature Railway in Roker Park in Sunderland, Jimmy was outstanding with his communication both before and after his visit to see the job, he gave us a very competitive price which also included a discount as we are a community based not for profit company and every penny counts for us to keep the business running..
The two lads who did the job were punctual each day, never stopped working and each day the rubbish was removed from the site especially with it being a council run park...
Like the previous commenters I cannot recommend these guys highly enough and I will have no hesitation in using again.
If a company goes above and beyond expectations, this is that company.

Full makeover for passage, stairs and landing, old wallpaper stripped , replastered walls, all redecorated , new handrail. What a difference ! Lads were punctual, respectful of property, excellent job all round, highly recommend!
