A worthy winner of the UK Tea Council Top Afternoon Tea award 2006 - 17 years later it seems little has changed. I called shortly before closing time for a pot of Fell Walker tea - created and blended here on site & a home baked Eccles cake with a piece of Wensleydale cheese; both truly exceptional. The staff are great, the menu is extensive and the prices for what you get are very reasonable. Do not leave Grange without calling here❗

Lovely lunch date with my dad. Nice ambience and dog friendly too. Smashed avocado was a visual delight besides a treat for the tastebuds!

Absolutely delicious cream tea with warm scones and home made damson conserve and clotted cream, with a wide selection of loose leaf teas. Highly recommend.

A lovely, elegant place with friendly and efficient service. We had potted shrimp on toast - wonderful bread! - with a glass of white wine. It was delicious. Quite a few customers were enjoying fish and chips and they looked fantastic.

Such a lovely place.

The food is always lovely, well presented and tasty.

The staff are always attentive and professional.

You cannot book a table here and have to queue. It is pretty well organised and the waiting time is never very long.

I have been numerous times and have always had a lovely experience.

The food is delicious and good value for Grange. The teas are excellent.
The staff were lovely and one girl went out of her way to help us with our order. I have it earmarked for our next visit to Grange over Sands.

Gorgeous cheese & onion bread 👌 also asked if considered raffle prize donation to support local charity, which they did. Thank you, much appreciated.

The meat was next level, it had that rich homemade flavour. I have to say this was the nicest burger I've ever had, cheese melted in your mouth 😋. The portion sizes were very generous and the fish and chips were huge. Finally the strawberry tart was to die for!

My Mrs and myself was visiting the area from London and decided to stop and have a quick snack. We was pleasantly surprised when we was handed the menu. There were so many great and varied food, snack, dessert and most impressively drinks to choose from! The food we ordered was great and we stayed for 4 drinks of different herbal tea's and specialty coffees. Really good vibes, and the staff were 10/10. If we ever visit the area again this is the first place we'll return to.

Absolutely brilliant place! We stumble upon it by a chance, going to Holker Hall and what a find! Friendliest staff i've came across for a while, great food, really nice atmosphere, huge selection of tea (heaven for me), really really worth a visit :) And as for the price - It might be a bit dearer than somewhere else but worth every penny.

A lovely dog friendly cafe. Visited for lunch. The sandwiches were first class and there was a multitude of specialty teas to choose from. The cafe is spotlessly clean and tidy with very professional staff. Well worth a visit.

It's always a pleasure visiting this well known café and shop. Due to Covid restrictions you cannot enter the café through the shop but have to use the main entrance to café off the road. The meals are reasonably priced for the area and portion sizes are ample. Me and my friend had a coffee and a cake each, plus there's a tea shop upstairs selling a variety of loose tea and bags. Next door to the café is their deli and bakery shop. Delicious cakes and home made bread's aswell as gins and vodka.

Great find on the main street opposite the park, lovely food, great portions, very welcoming and efficient staff and room for our Cocker Spaniel. We also liked the Tea Shop upstairs

We got some takeaway cakes, a bakewell slice and a 'beesting' which is a sweet bun with almond cream inside and almond slices on top. Just wow! So so tasty, big enough to share too!
