Very friendly and helpful. Room was ground floor external to main building and a good size, bed large and comfortable. Didn't eat here except for breakfast which was very good. We met with friends in the bar before going out, the bar seemed a great place for drinkers, a really good atmosphere. Would stay here again and would definitely drink here again.

We stay here several times a year. The staff are always very pleasant and go out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are clean and well kept and some are dog friendly but don’t smell of dog. Breakfast is a real treat and we have always enjoyed our dinners there. I have no hesitation in recommending The Swan.

An accommodation gem of the norfolk broads.
Stayed over from Christmas eve until boxing day morning to be near to my daughter and her family. The room, customer service, and food were exceptional considering the time of year and staffing pressures. The team of enthusiastic and dedicated staff made the stay enjoyable considering they also had their own family commitments for Christmas day.
If your looking for a vibrant traditional Norfolk town as a base to explore the Norfolk broads from then you need to look no further than the Swan Loddon.

Had a fabulous meal here for my grandads birthday. The staff were all fantastic and the food was lovely. As we had a gluten free person dining, they catered to their meal especially and they enjoyed all the same food as us. Highly reccomend and thankyou once again for a special meal.

All staff were very friendly and helpful, even lending me a phone charger, as I had forgotten mine.

Excellent starter, I had the asparagus. Chicken supreme for my main. All done to a tee and very tasty. Roslyn had beef sirloin, vegetables were varied and palatable.
Staff were courteous and attentive.
Not cheap but you have to pay for quality which this meal was.

The Swan at Loddon is our ‘go to’ warm and cosy welcome after a long country walk, there are some fantastic walks in and around Loddon, when returning though, be sure to pop in, head to the right of the bar and sit yourself in front of the roaring log fire.

Lunch tastes fantastic, the staff are friendly and enthusiastic and there is a great selection of wines and beer. They are also extremely friendly with our young baby boy.

As ‘places to dry out and spend the afternoon in great company’ go, the Swan has never let us down.

Room was spacious and cosy. Bathroom was modern and clean. Serviced every day 👍🏼
Minus - breakfast was a bit lacklustre in terms of options and quality :(

Went to a very similar pub in North Norfolk last week. One that is pretty well known and 'pig based' but it was nowhere near as good as this. Always a decent bitter on and the food always feels like a treat.

Very nice pub in a small town with a lot of competition. Very good service and attractive seating areas including bar, restaurant, snug and pool room areas.

Nice range of well kept beer with guest beers. Dog friendly. We have had food a couple of times and that was great with good service too. Had a guest beer recently and was £3.10, a long time since I had a decent beer at that price.

A lovely old place, with smart decor. We were out on an ale run and weren't at all disappointed in what was on offer, not extensive but what they had was good.
Extremely pleasant staff and service.

Only been for drinks twice as we were just holidaying in the area, but I have to say we felt it was very a friendly and welcoming pub. A lot of pubs in the area made us feel awkward because we weren't eating, not the Swan though, great atmosphere.
