Hales Hall & The Great Barn

Gorgeous grounds, stunning buildings and the barn is just sublime! what a venue this is to be at. I had the privilege of photographing a wedding here a couple years ago and I cannot wait for the chance to go back. The staff were really good at their jobs and super friendly too. Book this venue!

Having photographed weddings at Hales Hall numerous times I have to say the place is incredible. The grounds are a photographers dream, and the barn itself is jaw dropping. Just as important is the team running the weddings, these guys are some of the best in the industry and will look after everything for you. I'm looking forward to be shooting there again a few times this year. x

An amazing venue set in the Norfolk countryside. Tell me of a couple who would not want to wed at this stunning old manor house and barn. To top it off, the staff and those involved were so attentive, polite and hard working. A wonderful place which ticks all boxes.

Just spent the weekend at this stunning venue celebrating my 60th birthday with family. Wow! What an incredible historic house. Over the years we’ve rented a lot of large houses and this by far out shines them!
Welcomed by Delice, there were lovely touches of necessities ie, bread, milk, eggs, OJ etc. The kitchen was well equipped with high spec gadgets. The grounds were great for the kids & dogs. Everyone of my guests enjoyed very comfortable nights in the gorgeous bedrooms.
All in all I would highly recommend this historic, fabulously comfortable home.

One heck of a stunning venue, very professionally run! We played music in the garden & hall (no dancing due to measures in place at the time ) and you can't help but feel every where you look you're surrounded by beautiful features - the gardens and architecture, especially the Hall, are awesome. Lots of floor space inside for a great ceilidh, if only we'd had the chance, maybe some day.

I first shot at Hales Hall in 2013 and immediately fell in love with what is unquestionably one of the very best wedding venues in the region. Having now worked at hundreds of venues, I can honestly say that Hales Hall would be my own choice of wedding venue. On top of its obviously stunning backdrops of gardens, house and barn and incredibly private rural Norfolk location, it is run by the best hospitality team that I’ve had the pleasure of working with. It’s always an absolute pleasure to photograph weddings at Hales Hall. The team work effortlessly in the background to ensure that every single couple and guest are made to feel special and enjoy every second of their perfect day. The food and drink are also always exceptional. I really cannot think of a better place to be married and spend one of the most important days of your life. Hales Hall and the exceptional team that run this incredible venue really do set the benchmark for weddings in Norfolk and indeed East Anglia and beyond.

Just walking through the gates with the views of the gardens, Hall and Barn the sense of history is amazing and once inside these beautifully renovated buildings, decorating them doesn't disappoint and is always a pleasure. I have worked at Hales Hall many times during my career as a freelance makeup artist. I have always found the team to be friendly and accommodating during weddings and photoshoots. One of my most recent couples chose the venue for its quintessentailly English countryside feel, which in my view is a great description. Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Norfolk with easy access to Norwich, the location is perfect for hosting your wedding or spechial event. The accommodation feels luxurious, and the gardens are perfect for your drinks reception. All before you and your guests dance the night away in the glorious Tudor Barn.

As a Videographer I've filmed several weddings at Hales Hall over the last 7 years. As soon as you walk through the large gates into the main grounds you'll fall in love with Hales Hall. It's just a stunning venue and the care and attention from Briony, Emily, and the rest of the team is second to none. It's a venue that offers you everything you need for your wedding under one roof, accommodation, beautiful grounds, the amazing barn, and a great team of staff! As a photographer, having photographed over 200 weddings over East Anglia, Hales Hall is certainly one of my favourites for a number of reasons. Not only is the barn, accommodation and grounds beautiful, what really makes this venue special is the staff that run it. No detail is too small and nothing is overlooked. A true sign of a venues calibre in my opinion is not only to look at how they treat the clients, but all the suppliers and their staff - and in this regard Hales Hall scores top marks!

We got married here the 29th June 2019 we hired the whole venue from the Friday to the Monday morning.
The venue was exceptional every one commented on the barn, accommodation and the stunning grounds.
The weekend went better then we had imagine Briony and Emily made sure that all needs were catered for on the day organisation was amazing and the back of the scene also with all our shows, photographers, music and magicians did not go unnoticed

We can't recommend this venue and their service enough!!!! We got married here on the 11th August 2018. The beautiful Hall slept twenty five of our loved ones for three nights and we all absolutely fell in love with this 14th century house, it is absolute heaven (take the online 3D tour, you'll fall in love). This house is kitted out with everything you need and is short of nothing. Our wedding day was just perfect and people have commented that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I honestly think this is down to not only the beautiful venue with stunning grounds but also the service that came with it. Emily and Briony ran and managed the day like pro's. Nothing was too much to ask, they are highly experienced wedding co-ordinaters and I am just so grateful to have had them there.
