Fantastic meal had on a busy Friday night at the Fox, new owners are just an amazing addition to the village! Good pub grub done with class. Well done to Jim and the team! We will be returning again and again.

If you're looking for a Sunday roast, this is the place. We parked up and then went for a rather muddy hour walk around the area before coming back for lunch. By far the best roast I've ever had out. Potatoes were crispy, meat was delicious, even the veg were great. Lovely pub feel to it.

Great atmosphere, beautiful food, and friendly staff!
It was nice to sit out in the garden on a semi-sunny day and make the most of our British Summer.
Absolutely nothing to complain about on our visit today. The portions were spot on, the food was properly cooked and well presented, and the times between courses weren't anything out of the ordinary.
Will definitely return in the future and recommend to friends!

I'd never eaten here before last night but I'll definitely be back! The burger was sooo good. And the staff are all so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to spend summer evenings in the garden!

Stopped off here last minute for a Sunday roast and boy was it worth it. We had the slow cooked beef and bean roast. Both delicious. All sat by a huge open log fire. Perfect Sunday. Thank you

It was mother's day, and they managed too fit us in at very short notice.
It was one of the best Sunday roast's I've ever had.

This pub is amazing, I haven't been since I was about 19 (which is about 29 years ago), but my family have been many times as live locally and were there last, back in May and it wasn't that great, but under new management now and the food was outstanding. We had excellent service, a wonderful table for us all to celebrate 2 birthdays and our dog joined us too. Thanks to Leah and all the staff, we had a fab time and will be back 😀 👍🏻

We've just moved into the area and this pub is around the corner from us and very happy it is. Lovely place and great food. My wife made a mistake with her order and it was changed with no fuss at all. We will definitely be returning

I visited this pub three or four times whist I was there over the summer. (I live in the UAE at the moment). Good pub, great food, (thanks to the Irish chef) and decent beer, though more choice wouldn't be appreciated. Next time I'm home I'll be back.

What a lovely little place this is. Staff very welcoming too, a bunch of us arrived on bikes unannounced and was not made to feel unwelcome or out of place at all. I would definitely recommend popping in if you are near by.

Had a great organised Christmas dinner here. Chef made sure all my food was vegan and couldn't do enough for us! Great fun!

Loved the atmosphere, loved the food which was top notch and worth the price paying in a very idyllic part of the country. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Service was a little slow at times however, felt like we had to almost force ourselves up to pay! Food service speed was good however.

Please do not listen to any negative comments on this pub! We found this pub on a walk and oh wow have we found our local! The food is amazing but the landlady is especially amazing!! she is so lovely and so accommodating every time we have visited the food is amazing! Service is exceptional lovely and cosy! This is my favourite pub in buntingford!! I’ve been to other pubs in the area as my family live there and you will not receive the same service/welcoming food experience anywhere else! If you are looking for good food, good service and a cosy pub please visit the fox in Aspenden!! Good size garden for the summer days also 😊
No point going anywhere else in buntingford the other pubs do not look after you like the fox! Amazing that’s all I can say!

Went for a roast and the service was very good. Staff were attentive. The food was well cooked, it tasted good and it was home made. The portions are a good size, allowing space for dessert. We shared a dessert which was very nice as well. I would definitely return. We particularly loved how cosy the pub is, its nice a quiet and the fire place was lit. Its a lovely to place to have a meal and relax

It was lovely to be greeted do warmly on arrival. We had an excellent lunch at the Fox Pub this afternoon. Service was friendly and prompt and the food was excellent. My daughters rump steak was so tender and perfectly cooked and my husband and my meals were fab too. I would totally recommend heading there for an outside meal and we would return if in the area too. I do suggest booking a table in advance if the weather looks promising.

Such a friendly country pub. Fairly small but great in summer with lots of benches in the small(ish) beer garden. Great food and reasonably priced! Child and dog friendly. Great stop off on a country walk!

Went to the pub on Friday night. Me and my wife had the fillet steaks. Must say it was the best steak we have had for a long while. Cooked to perfection. Rob the landlord and he's wife were really lovely people and made us feel very welcome. We will be visiting again with our family very soon
