Moved from Maidstone back to Battle after 25 years away, needed a good honest tackle shop and rod repairer.
It has it all, old school knowledge, friendly but not pushy sales, great for a browse and a chat. Covers all fishing aspects and reasonably priced. Good local info on waters and coastal catches.
Please do not change what you are doing.
Took my greys beach rod in for a new tip ring, said I'd leave it there and to call when done.
By the time my wife and I had had a browse and was walking out of the door I was handed my tip section.
Repaired.
That is service unheard of nowadays.
In my book it's perfect.

Highly recommended. Very competitive prices on a huge amount of stock of fresh and sea water fishing gear and bait, even compared to online stores! All the guys inside are extremely welcoming and will always answer any questions. Advice is always very much on the table when needed too. Big thumbs up.

Bought a couple of rods and a reel yesterday, despite being snowed under with customers, they put line on the reel I bought, and line on 2 more reels I bought online.
I forgot to pick up some shock leader that I'd paid for , and when I rang up, it was no problem to post it to me.
Took us 2hrs to get there, well worth it, and I will be back.
You won't go wrong buying from here.

Spent a good couple of hours in the Anglers Den at Pevensey being served by the excellent Ollie and very ably assisted by Kev. They managed to teach an old dog some new tricks and I’m now the proud owner of some lovely beach casting tackle and am looking forward to my first session this evening!!

This has to be one of the best tackle shops in the UK. The stock levels of tackle and bait are superb.
Backed up with excellent customer service and knowledge which is readily shared. I live in the West Midlands and have little opportunity to sea fish, every year I have a fortnight autumn holiday in Pevensey
. The Anglers Den has always served me well and I am happy to recommend to.all

Parking Outside, helpful and knowledgeable staff, great selection of gear and staff were helpful in pointing out some local marks and some good baits to try

Picked up some bait today for fishing tonight. Got looking at their great range of rods and the staff were very helpful. The prices were very keen and being advised about their easter sale coming up soon I shall be calling in to take advantage of 20% off. Great stuff
