Enroute to a weekend away in the Scottish Borders on our motorbike, we stopped at North Allerton for a coffee. This coffee house was the perfect stop, the staff were all very friendly, the flatwhite was perfect and the cheeky brownies we had were delicious!

Lovely cosy place, best coffee in town. The service bell on the counter should be treat with reverence as that bong will resonate through all of creation. Double espresso. Will go again.

Great coffee (with a lotus biscuit!), lovely staff. Cosy, friendly atmosphere and great cafe music - nothing loud just playing softly in the background.
It's also got a nice selection of deli food.
Highly recommended.

Very good little coffee shop, they have a nice little menu, we tried a couple of their paninis and they were very nice, prices are very good. Staff was really kind to arrange a sandwich for my 4 years old and I would like to mention that they were ready to to comp a lady's coffee when she noticed she forgot her wallet, very quick reaction to not stress the lady and make her feel comfortable, that's great service for me, well done!

The staff were very friendly and attentive. They made us feel welcomed & the food was just as great.
A beautiful place with plenty of easy parking straight out side which is Pay & Display for a maximum stay of 2 hours.
I had the Brie and Cranberry toasty with salad & chips - only £5!

Fabulous. A real life saver today. Staff very friendly and food was brilliant made from quality ingredients. Well priced too. Also sells local a good selection deli products from local producers. You can keep for costas and Starbucks.... These are the coffee shops you should be supporting.

I have been visiting the Central Coffee House for several years now, and it never fails to impress myself or friends/family I've taken there for their first time. Emma and the rest of the staff are absolutely lovely, and the food is delicious.
It's always my first suggestion of where to go for some breakfast/lunchtime food.

Fabulous food, coffee that absolutely hit the right spot and staff were lovely.
A really nice relaxed placed well worth a visit. No pictures as we were a little on the disheveled side but the Mr had breakfast panini, comes alone. He was really happy with it, the flavours and the bread were bang on- only drawback (personal preference) was the thickness of the tomatoe slices.- But they make to order so when we go back he knows to ask.
I had bacon, cranberry and brie panini, comes with crisps, salad and homemade coleslaw.
I swear it has been a while since I had one that good. Superb combination ratio, I asked for bacon crispy and it was (just) and their homemade coleslaw is lush.
Costs for the two panini and 2 coffees was under 20 quid and we didn't get hungry again till lunch.

Excellent café, great and interesting selection of savoury and sweet food, with delicious coffee. We had grilled a halloumi and sundried tomato panini and a brie and chutney ciabatta, and excellent scones with jam and cream. Would definitely return.

If in these strange times, you are missing out on a proper Afternoon Tea you have come to the right place at the Central Coffee House. The Takeaway Afternoon Tea has to be pre booked but don’t let this but you off because when you call to collect you will be presented with a large box full of goodies. Proper sandwiches with good fillings, two scones each(home-made), three cakes and a macaroon each all excellent produce and delicious with it. You may also want to come hungery due to the quantity and quality. Almost makes lockdown worth it!
