I recently visited PCS and spoke to Shaun, the owner. I went in with possibly the world's slowest laptop and, on Shaun's recommendation, upgraded the RAM and reinstalled the OS.

Shaun has been in the industry for years and his experience really shines through - a genuine fountain of knowledge that he's happy to share.

Couldn't be happier with the service and the result. Highly recommend for any laptop, Mac, or mobile phone issues you may have.

Last Monday I took my laptop in for a charging port repair, Liam in the shop dealt with me, he was very polite and professional and said he would have it back to me within a day at the latest.

He regularly kept in touch with me and let me know once he had diagnosed the issue and how much the repair was going to cost, should I wish to go ahead, and by the following day it was fully fixed and ready to collect.

Great service from Liam, would highly recommend Phoenix to anyone.

What a fantastic service I needed my iPad and laptop repaired so I could continue to work from home and needed a fast turn around. They were brilliant turned the iPad around same day which meant I could keep working. Laptop followed fully repaired and upgraded more storage the following day, and that was only because I wanted upgrade and they didn’t have the specific drive I wanted in stock. Was having issues with my desktop computer that I wasn’t able to sort myself this time round. Shaun got back to me first thing in the morning asking me to pop over with it - received a call around mid-day (same day) that they had sorted it and everything they had done was all explained clearly to me.

Pheonix have been absolutely fantastic in helping me choose some parts for a new build computer, the parts and building stage was extremely quickly and I cannot recommend this shop enough

Great friendly and efficient service from both Shaun and Liam. Liam explained everything fully to me as to what the fault was with laptop and fitted a new hard drive and installed Windows 11 with in a day or two. Reasonable price. Definitely would recommend PCS

Absolutely brilliant service. I came to the shop with a slightly unusual repair - some surface mount LEDs on a guitar processor had failed and needed replacing.

The board was fixed in a matter of hours and for a tenth of the cost of a new part. Thanks very much for helping me out!

Friendly and really know their stuff. Shaun has been helping me diagnose a problem with my PC, he's been up front with possible solutions and costs. All the work done has been professional and really quick. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely first class service. My old desktop died - Phoenix did me a replacement, recovered all data from old machine, back up and running in 2 days and all at a very fair price. Extrmely helpful friendly people.

Nothing but praise for these guys. We had an excellent experience this week. Initially I had a problem with my laptop charger and even though they didn’t have a replacement in stock, they let me borrow their store charger for 24 hours. This really helped me out as I had immediate client work to complete
It then transpired that the laptop issue I was suffering was more than just a charger and they diagnosed and fixed it very quickly. I found the service to be professional honest and of a very high standard. I will use them again without question.

served by Liam who was extremely polite and helpful and explained everything.
all our files were safely saved and he called us to say all was sorted. Thought we would have to wait until Monday but he got it sorted in a couple of hours when he had lots of other jobs to deal with aswell.

A number of IT companies now ask customers to carry out repairs themselves which in my case entailed opening my Computer Tower. This is fine when you are familiar with the workings of computers but many of us are of a mature age are not that tech savvy. I needed the CMOS battery changed which in this case was hidden behind the graphics card and required someone who new what they were doing to replace it. I have used PCS a number of times and have found them very efficient, friendly and helpful. While carrying out this work they also checked the system and found that it required updating. By carrying out this check they solved other problems I was having. The work was carried out very quickly and I would highly recommend them.

I’ve had my computer for awhile now and it has been starting to go really slow on me, i thought it was to do with having Mcafee.
My grandson has gone to this place before to get screen repairs as well as a rebuild on his gaming pc so he recommended this place to me as he has had such a great experience with them in the past.
The young chap in there was so charming and explained in full detail of what was wrong and all of my options, he had amazing customer service skills I couldn’t fault him at all. I was told that my hard drive was on its way out and I needed a new one, he also recommended and put on a new device security on for me. They managed to do it on the same day which is as great for me as I came from Chippenham so I by the time I had a coffee and walked around the town I was able to pick it up and go back home.
Since I’ve had it back I’ve had no problem with it at all I don’t think I’ve it been this fast since I first brought my computer.
I would highly recommend this place great customer services and an amazing standards on the repair. I broke my phone for 4 days & Shaun had it fixed within 15 minutes. Very good service & very friendly. Felt comfortable leaving my phone with him while I wasn’t there. Would highly recommend

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Brought in my MacBook Pro, and received useful advice and guidance. The issue was resolved in a timely fashion, at a more than reasonable price. Third time that I have used Phoenix Computer Systems. I cannot fault their service - efficient, competitively priced and second to none. The guys know their stuff and are unfailingly courteous and helpful. My old laptop 'died' at the weekend and within an hour a 'new' reconditioned one was available with everything on the old machine 'cloned' across. Forget Currys/PC World.
