BEAR - Uttoxeter

Was looking for a decent coffee retreat far away from home during a quick break in Lancashire. Bear is highly rated and having just had breakfast can say it lives up to its rep'. Great food..like really great, great coffee, good sounds and vibe. Easy access parking 3 mins walk away. Highly recommend 👌

BEAR- A welcoming cafe with a Positive atmosphere. Went there for Breakfast. Usually i prefer going to local cafe’s to explore more about the town and this is the best pick. Really good staff and food was also amazing. Staff really helped in swapping and arranging food according to my dietary requirements as well. Highly recommended place to go. Baked food was soo fresh that you can smell it in the ambience.

We stopped by the Bear today for a coffee and a brunch.
The place looks amazing,we felt as in our hometown from Romania.
Staff are very friendly and the food was delicious.
We had a burger and some beef with eggs and a coffee,proper coffee ♥
We are not from the area but we will definitely save the location and we will visit it again when we will be around.

The customer service and food here are amazing!

Due to an honest misunderstanding a certain part of my meal was left off my plate (I have food intolerances and they thought the ingredients contained dairy when in fact they are vegan). The manager was wonderful, sorted the problem and went over and above to ensure we were happy.

Could not recommend this place enough for food, service and dealing with food intolerances.

Really a great surprise… very chilled atmosphere, great coffee, excellent food and wonderful efficient service. Totally worth it.

Been to this location many times and I'm always impressed with the service provided. Their Friday and Saturday menu is absolutely amazing and if you are ordering food don't forget the Frickles. They are so good.

What an amazing little find. We were looking for a place for breakfast following an early morning appointment in Uttoxeter. We were really glad we stumbled on this gem. Staff were super friendly, welcoming and upbeat. Service was fast and the food and drinks were delicious! Would definitely recommend and visit again!

Went to BEAR Uttoxeter for the first today and was really impressed. As a mixed bunch - a vegan, a vegetarian, a 'normal' person 🤣, a 2 year old and a dog - it was great to find a place that welcomed and catered for each one of us. The vegan breakfast was much more interesting than a lot I have had and was delicious and the others all said how nice the food and drinks were, including the two year old. (There is a children's menu though I hadn't spotted it on the website.)
The staff were friendly and helpful and cleared away crockery without making it feel like a hint that we should be leaving.
Four hot breakfasts and 4 drinks for £47 which I thought was good value for the quality and quantity.
I am already planning a return trip with someone else who really must try the vegan breakfast.
PS No photos because I don't do that but, trust me, it is very Instagram-able. 😁

We pre-booked a large table for brunch and the team were so organised and helpful with the booking. All of our food came out perfectly and was absolutely delicious. Nothing was too much trouble, despite the constant flow of coffee orders! Would definitely come again.

Bear in a fantastic place to be, the decor is rustic with a modern twist, the coffees, of which there is an excellent selection are delicious.
Phoebe who is the assistant manager at Uttoxeter branch was most helpful and very friendly, nothing was too much.
All in all, BEAR is a nice place to be for some great food and great tasting coffee, many thanks to Phoebe 😀😀👍

Am a bit of a regular here nowadays, personally I think it's pricey but in all fairness the food is good, the surroundings are great and it does feel like 'an event', you ARE somewhere.
The staff are kind and long lasting and everyone talks about how good the manager is with them and they've opened upany branches since.
I was cynical at first but yeah. I like Bear.

Throughout the many occasions I have frequented Bear in Uttoxeter, the service has always been impeccable. From the food, to the staff to the overall atmosphere. Well done and thanks to the whole team (Ben, Milly, Fraser, Will, George, Phoebe, Spencer, Matt & Stu).

P.s. the coffee art is certainly unique....

Only popped in for a quick drink so didn't eat there, but smoothies, chai latte & coffee all good.

We attend this coffee shop weekly. The general manager Ben is a fantastic host and is a true credit to the team. Bear is always clean and the staff make a friendly atmosphere.

Bear has a great range of tasty cakes and it's food menu is full of delicious options. The coffee is lovely and the staff are always friendly and happy to help you find something to suit your requirements. My favourite thing is when they stay open in the evening and you can enjoy beer, wine, and cocktails from inside the industrial looking cafe/bar. A great local business, owned by local people, i'm a big fan of supporting Bear!
