Had a fabulous one night stay at Brown's Hotel. Close to the castle and Dylan Thomas trail. The superior room was really lovely with exposed stonework and beautifully decorated. Slight issue with low beams leading to the bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant and the Sirloin steaks were delicious - the best we have had- cooked perfectly. Also the soufflé starter was again delicious. Good range of wines. We were so full we couldn't manage a dessert. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again. Lovely experience.

Went here for an evening meal. The food was out of this world. Never have I had a Lamb steak that was so juicy and perfectly delicious. It did not need anything, and I wasn't even asked how I like my steak... it's like the chef just knows how to cook to perfection every time.

For an experience of perfect fine dining, This is the place to go.

Dexters at Brown's was excellent, every steak was cooked to perfection. The service was second to none. Rob who dealt with our orders was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for him.
We were a table of 10 and couldn't have asked for a more attentive person to look after us.
Well done Rob and well done Dexters

Evening meal at Brown's.
Sadly we were put by the door on a window bench, no comfy seats. Very hot in restaurant. Also very dark.
Food was very good. Limited veggie options but what was available was lovely.
Staff were lovely.

Just back from a superb 3 nights at Browns Hotel. The team were so lovely, friendly and made my parents, my (large) dog and my self feel ever so welcome. The food=superb (both breakfast(s) AND dinner (ribeye!!). The rooms were clean and well appointed, stylish chic with splashes of history as I described it to my Mom. It’s a great place to travel from in all directions when doing the coastal walk. Dad’s already booked himself and friends in for later in the year! Thoroughly recommended and thanks again!! 🙏

We came here for a meal, which was so good, we opted for the sharing Chateaubriand and wow it was delicious.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
They are dog friendly in the bar area which is where we had our food

A wonderful short stay in this historic hotel. Sherlock our 3 year old lab was spoiled, as were we, by the lovely, friendly staff.

Was looking for a unique type of hotel with a good aesthetic.
Browns delivered on this. I was upgraded due to a problem with my original booking so stayed in the Barks which is the top floor room. Rooms are a good size with sofa, TV and big bathroom. Large bath. There's a fridge but nothing fits in it so didn't use it.

We mostly wanted a pretty location to return to while exploring the Pembrokeshire and Brecons Beacon areas and this served the purpose.

Only flaw in my opinion, the breakfast is only served until 9.30am, which is too early for a holiday. Breakfast was delicious though, great quality.

Comfy, clean and warm! Browns is such a lovely hotel, the food was delicious and the staff were really friendly they even brought my Freida her own sausage with breakfast. Couldn’t have been happier and would 100% recommend to friends. Thankyou for a lovely stay ☺👌

A lovely night away in this hotel. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Our bathroom had an enormous roll-top bath which was a welcome feature. Breakfast was fantastic, as was the meal in Dexters restaurant the night before. Really warm welcome from Jack (I think!) who could not have been more helpful during our stay.

A lovely hotel. Our room was spacious and well kitted out. We loved the interior design and the cotton bed linen. Staying here was relaxing and special. The food was fantastic, both breakfast and our evening meal. The service was excellent, the staff at Brown's were welcoming and extremely helpful. A delight!

Fantastic stay!
The team there were brillint. Attention to detail and just how friendly and chatty everyone was - brilliant!  The friendliness and helpfulness of the people there made the stay - this is what makes a stay truly exceptional and priceless!
From the moment that we checked in we were loked after by everyone in the team.  Space to park the car, a lovely comfortable and quiet room.  Beers in the bar were great, as were the G&T's.  Dinner was truly exceptional - we were taken through the menu (my wife is dairy & gluten intolerant) and that meant that the chef could prepare the d/f and g/f equivalent of my meal.  Starter perfect and the Dexter beef Chateaubriand we shared was amazing - the side and chips were too!  The organic wine we had accompanied dinner perfectly,  Breakfast was great as well, plenty of choice and again my wife was more than catered for.  What made the whole stay was the people and the way that they made us feel.

Room - Super bathroom and loads of hot water, Super comfortable bed

This hotel is excellent! Beautiful location, the rooms are amazing, the staff couldn't be more helpful and on top of that, the food was out of this world. The breakfast in the hotel was really filling and delicious and their restaurant was the perfect choice for dinner. You can tell that they care about using the best local produce.
We wished we had stayed a bit longer! Laugharne is a small but gorgeous village.

Great hotel, lovely rooms, if you have any dietary needs check the menu before you book, as I was told this is a steakhouse.

What a lovely place and I mean the hotel as well as the village. I wrote a brilliant review a few weeks ago on trip advisor based on our first visit but it wouldn’t let me do another. The first wasn’t an excetption. Really lively hotel and a great location! Different and great room again. Food absolutely perfect. Rob and Liz went above and beyond as usual. Might have to make this a monthly chill out visit. Perfect in every way! Thanks guys.

Room was very well appointed and very comfortable - had a great nights sleep. Made extra special by the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful! Celebrated my wedding anniversary here and loved it so much we're planning on returning next year! Highly recommended - especially if you're a Dylan Thomas fan but if not just because!
