What a gem of a place we stubbled across this cafe by mistake the food was amazing the deco and atmosphere is very Bohemian and trendy love the place

This was our second visit in three days.
As we were in Llandeilo we thought we would try Diod as it is quite new. The staff were friendly and service was quick. Takeaways also available. It's a coffee house serving a selection of very nice cakes (some gluten free). And light snacks. I had leek and potato soup the first day and Robert had a chicken and ham ciabatta. And second visit I had Welsh Rarebit and Robert had cheese and ham ciabatta as soup had all gone. The bread is lovely and fresh and ciabatta comes with some crisps and side salad.
My salad was different from the usual and had chopped strawberries and blueberries. Oh and we took a huge slice of orange and ginger cake home.
They are open 7 days a week closing at 3pm on Sunday.

Great place, my mozzarella baguette was warm and moreish on a winters day. Coffee and service was lovely. Lots of locals and friendly chats.

Lovely modern cafe, ideally placed in the centre of town. Nice, friendly staff.

Love coming for a coffee and a treat but perhaps your opening times need to be updated?Checked online before coming on Friday and expected 6pm closing time. Arrived at 4:55 and told that it was closing time. So disappointed 😢 but still worth 5 stars. Maybe 4.9999😁

Lovely cafe with delicious cakes and specialty coffee

Best pot of tea & best cake (almond slice) I've had in a long time. Staff are lovely. Will definitely return here. Highly recommend.

Lovely cafe nice and clean quick service pot of tea was lovely even had decaff staff very polite and pleasant. Would recommend this Place its right opposite the Cawdor. We will return next time we are in Llandeilo

Nice sandwich, cake and coffee..good place to stop after cycling to Bethlehem

Great cafe, great staff, nice food, well priced. Be aware, Llandeilo is not for the faint hearted especially if you're disabled, parking is difficult, and the main street is very narrow, large articulated trucks and farm machinery travel through the town, so be on your guard as the pathways are very narrow. Llandeilo is a great little town steeped in history, well worth a visit.

Lovely place and friendly staff. My boyfriend and I had the rarebit, which was delicious. The coffee was decent, wish we’d had time for cake!

We love going to Diod. Good quality food and drinks which are well priced. Welsh speaking staff who are always polite and friendly. Extra bonus with Welsh language music being played quietly in the background.

Not just a Ham and Cheese baguette ... The best baguette EVER. I was in a rush so order something I thought was fairly average and quick to take with me on a 3 hr journey. Waw, I'm not being dramatic, this was the best baguette I've ever tasted. Every element was so tasty. The ham was thick and lovely, the cheese, proper chunk slices of cheese, tomato chutney, I asked for only a little and it's was just enough for me with fresh green leaves and lovely home baked baguette that was soft and just enough crunch. My only disappointed is I live so far away. Diolch.
