Highly recommended - location is superb for visiting the local attractions and the train station is a 2 minute walk away with Sheringham and Cromer a quick train ride away for a very reasonable price. Staff are friendly and helpful - the food was delicious and service excellent. Will definitely be back.

Myself and my parter came to stay for two nights over valentine's in a deluxe double with bed, breakfast and dinner included. Our stay was absolutely magical, the room was beautiful, the service and staff were amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. We have been able to create memories that will last forever, we will definitely stay again in the future!

Went for afternoon tea. The attention from staff was first class and the food was absolutely amazing. I've paid higher prices in three past for teas that were far inferior to this one - if you get the chance you really must go.

Any place is about the people who work there. The room was clean and well stocked with tea/coffee etc. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. Chef, with a cheery smile, was happy to do poached eggs for us. The swimming pool and changing rooms were also clean and well kept.
Ample room for parking and is so close to the railway station.

We had a lovely afternoon tea for 2. Staff were lovely, friendly and polite. Another great thing, is if you can't manage to eat all the scrumptious cakes you have the option to take them home with you, so no food goes to waste( great idea). We will enjoy the rest of the cakes tomorrow. 😊⭐

I had a gluten free afternoon tea that was so generous I had to take most of it home in a box!! A rarity for coeliacs 😊

Plenty of offers on hand for (free) tea refills. Great service from friendly staff (particular thanks to Wendy who was awesome, and even had a separate table for the gluten free version brought over to make sure there was no risk. Absolutely brilliant, and very, very appreciated! Dietary needs were catered for, no questions asked, handled in the most friendly way.)
I was delighted with how wonderfully they catered for me, and a huge thank you to the team. I felt very full and very taken care of. The afternoon tea was heavier on the cake side, which I personally prefer, but useful to know for anyone booking!

In terms of what was provided: I had 4 finger sandwiches, 2 (large) scones with jam and a generous dollop of cream, and 7(!) cakes: 2 angel slices, a jam tart, a cherry bakewell, a brownie, and two slices of the most delicious carrot cake. Everything was soft and fresh, and they kindly offered a box to takeaway what I couldn’t manage.

Astonishing value. Thank you, I will be back again.

Just got back from a 3 night stay at the links. My parents stay on the caravan site nearby so we decided to join them and stay at the Links with our 9 month old baby. The room was very spacious so plenty of crawling space for our little one. The bed was super comfy and huge! we slept great all 3 nights! The lift at first I was unsure about as I’m quite scared of lifts and it was a small old fashion call lift with a close-able gate but I soon came to love it. The hotel has been around for years so lots of old beautiful quirks including an original rotary door. My husband got unlimited golf included in our room rate so enjoyed two early morning 9 hole rounds, the golf course is stunning! Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the morning breakfast chef’s who couldn’t do enough for you! We will most definitely return 😊

Lovely hotel, booked last minute and the staff were very kind and accommodating. Price was very reasonable and I even got a complimentary upgrade from a single room to a double room which was very large. Everything was spotless, no dust on the door frames and the rooms smelled very clean. The room can get quite cold at night due to having old windows so make sure to keep your heater on. Room service was very quick and the food was delicious. I thought maybe a little over priced but it was more restaurant quality food than typical b&b food. Lovely old building and overall I had an amazing time and an amazing bath 😂. Would go again 100% if I'm back in the area. It's only a short walk from the beach and within an hour's walk of both Sheringham and Cromer with lovely walks along the clifftops or the beach between both. Also very close to 2 small villages both containing shops if you require them.

We went for the Christmas break. The service and attention to detail was superb. The food was excellent and surpassed our expectations.
The hotel added little touches that made the difference across the Christmas period.
Nothing was too much trouble if you asked.
Location was lovely and we enjoyed the area. Its within walking distance to the beach and the coastline was lovely.
I would recommend this hotel for a stay at anytime but if you want to be spoiled go for Christmas.
Definitely 5 ⭐

We were very well looked after by the amazingly friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is lovely, a venue with character and some old world charm and quirks. Just a few minor details in our room could do with sorted but nothing that spoils your experience. Would certainly love to return sometime.
