Good location, and there are a number of local pubs and restaurants with 'Big Tesco' just over the road.
The facilities are kept to a good standard with a variety of options room wise.
There's 3 communal areas with a TV room, a quiet reading room, and a games area that has a pool table (£1 a game) and table football.
The food was good for what we needed, and the selection was enough to keep our pupils happy.
A prayer room was available for our pupils as well as classrooms, and the self-catering kitchen was fit for purpose.

We stayed in a private room and thought highly of the experience. The location is convenient, near the station, in a quiet spot. The room was small, with a bunk bed. It was warm and the toilets and showers were conveniently located. Everything was clean and the staff was very helpful.
You could order a choice of breakfast, continental or full English. We got one each and were satisfied. Nothing was a problem, for instance extra duvets which as it turned out, we didn't need. The only problem with the room was the tiny green alarm light in the ceiling which was disturbing at night. Next time we will know to have these eye-flaps with us.

Have been staying for many years, four generations of us now. No complaints at all. Staff always very friendly, location is perfect. Highly recommend.

Lovely friendly welcome. Basic accommodation but clean and well run. Don't mind sleeping in a bunk bed. Shared facilities were clean. Breakfast (extra cost) was well worth it for our cycling day ahead, GF toast available for me :)

Lovely place. Basic but pleasant. Friendly staff. Ability to order breakfast and dinner for reasonable prices or self serve in the self catering kitchen or even a mixture of both.

My friends and I stayed for one night here. The shower and toilet facilities are clean and nice. You can also put your food in the kitchen fridge or shelf if you put your name on it. The rooms and beds were also very comfortable. There’s a pool table as well where you can play (you have to pay either a pound or less).

Heaven! Me and my kids had the best time, at ridiculously cheap cost. Sure we had a shared bathroom, but it was very very clean. Food is awesome, and they sell beer at reception. My time is done here 🙃

Cool sailing theme echoed around the various rooms of the building, nice clean showers and facilities, the gentleman working the front desk on the evening of the 10th of January was a wonderfully polite, helpful and kind employee. 5 stars all round in every aspect, 10/10 would stay again and recommend to a friend should you find yourself passing through Sherringham.

Pre-arrival:
Good communication and quick to reply to our queries. We sent a couple of emails back and forth about the availability and space for 2 cots.

Arrival:
Straight forward check in and arrival brief. Cots were set up for us.

Accommodation/ablutions:
Decent room. We were given a larger room to accommodate 2 cots, but we have been in smaller rooms with cots at other YHAs. So we would have been happy with something smaller. Grateful for the considerations to allow extra room. Beds were surprisingly comfortable and not as squeeky as some others.
Shared toilets and showers were very clean and relatively close by.

Self-catering facilities:
The kitchen was a good size with all that you need. The adjacent dining room was rather small, but there were a number of other rooms nearby. And a larger dining room down the corridor.

Lounge/rooms:
There were plenty of lounge spaces and a games room. I would suggest a small childrens play area should be made available (as other YHAs), especially during school holidays.

Location:
Fantastic location. Walking distance from beach and other places to visit. Large Tesco nearby.

Accessibility:
1x disability parking space. I didn't see any stairlifts/platform lifts (unlike other YHAs) in the main areas, so you should enquire before arrival.

It's a good example of a YHA. It's never going to be a posh experience but it doesn't pretend to be. Clean and tidy, the chap at reception was really friendly and helpful. Showers and the toilets were spotless and the room spacious enough. Was only me staying this time but the room cost £49 and could sleep 3 so really good value. No towels provided but can be hired/bought from reception. Free carparking on site and close proximity to the town centre and Tesco. Overall 5* for a budget room.

A repeat visit here. Always great. And a perfect location in Sheringham town. Showers are not en-suite but are convenient.

I only stayed for a single night here but I can't recommend YHA enough! The entire building was spotless and easy to navigate, covid polices were good and the shared facilities were cleaned regularly. Adrian at the reception desk was fantastic during my whole stay and helped me with a couple of concerns I had, and the room I stayed in was warm, well ventilated, clean and cosy. Great location too!

Extremely comfortable and well placed YHA. We stayed in a family room with two bunk beds, one with a double mattress on the bottom bunk. We didn't have a catered breakfast but used the self catering facilities which had everything you could want. Budget price but comfortable, 2 minutes from a large supermarket and 1p minutes from the main high street/steam train/beach.

A friend hired the whole place for a big gathering in the first week of January (this is only possible out of season) and it was the perfect place for a get-together. There's a big kitchen with lots if cutlery and crockery, a big dining room, lounges and a games room with pool table and table-football. There are lots of bed rooms with double beds and bunks and shower rooms. It's a 2 minute walk into Sheringham.

We all really enjoyed our stay.

From the initial process to the weekend of our trip, YHA Sheringham have been very patient and friendly to me and my group of 18. Big thank you to Adrian and all the staff for being so lovely and treating our group so well this weekend! Breakfast and dinner were both fantastic. Rooms were of a good size and the beds were comfy. The facilities were fantastic and the distance to the town centre is perfect.
Could not recommend this hostel enough to absolutely anyone who is looking for convenient accommodation during their stay in lovely Sheringham 😊

THANK YOU!

Plenty of parking, and near the railway station, the town, the sea, Felbrigg hall, garden and grounds and Sheringham park... and cheap at the moment with the WALK-23 offer
