Great burgers and very well cooked chips. Good selection of ice cream too! Can't complain!

Crab & lobster burger was absolutely delicious,unfortunately the chips weren't cooked all the way through.hence 4 stars

The chips were dry and flavourless, I ordered fish and chips and the fish was essentially just two big fish fingers and for £12+ it really wasn't good value. The fish had good flavour but the chips weren't worth eating. My partner ordered the lobster and crab burger, which sounds amazing but is just a blended up patty. Very underwhelming and bad value for money, I'd recommend going elsewhere

Underwhelming. Crab burger was OK, but to be charging £7.00 for a large portion of chips is just a scandal. Wish I'd read the reviews before I spent restaurant prices on takeaway food...

I would avoid the fish and chips as it was clear the fish is just standard frozen battered cod and the price does not reflect this. We did not have them but the crab and lobster burgers looked much better and I presume is from fresh ingredients.

Ripp off- He refused to serve just chips or a chip bap even though they are on the menu. Would only serve chips with a meal which meant I would have pay £5.50 more just for a sausage. NOT HAPPY

Crab sandwich turned out to be crab paste and had lettuce, cucumber and onion (not mentioned on the menu list). I did have doubts when they don’t use ‘butter’ and should have walked away then, but instead wasted £8.50. I couldn’t taste the ‘crab’ after removing the salad I didn’t want. Would recommend you avoid it.

Simply awful - avoid at all costs!

I’m very reluctant to ever leave a negative review but I feel simply compelled to advise people avoid this place. We ordered 5 meals and it came to £34.10 - I could accept this price if the quality was okay but it was dreadful!! The chips were average frozen chips and the fish was basically cheap Tesco Frozen cod fillets (same size, shape and all identical). Ridiculous since there’s a fish monger literally 20 meter’s away!! The ‘hot dog’ was a long sausage in a burger bun, but the bun was cut horizontally and stuck together... laughable if it wasn’t stupidly overpriced!! Served loose in cheap paper bags (no authenticity here folks!!) and the portion sizes were rather small too...

Overall very disappointing, especially since there’s so many fantastic places to eat at the Jurassic coast!!

Dreadful fish and chips, without doubt one of the worst portions of my favourite food I’ve spent almost £8 on. Advertising board suggests fresh product, what’s served is a really small, chopped and shaped, tasteless frozen product. There are lots of good quality frozen items available, this is just a cheap product to rip off customers and is not what’s advertised.

Wouldn’t even give this place a star to be truthful. We saw the sign “traditional fish and chips”
Completely Far far far far from it! Should really say birds eye battered fish and frozen chips from the supermarket because that’s what it was. Complete rip off. Shameful really as one would expect the fish to be decent considering local fisherman are in the area. Not even worth taking a photo either!

Come on change your act and stop ripping people off! £7.90 for a portion too.

Thought the crab and lobster burger sounded good, even though it was £6.90. What I got bore no resemblance to either ea creature and had no taste. When I took my pacaking back to the counter, I was rudely told to take it down round the corner to the public litter bin.
Avoid this place. Shame as it is in a great location - but just a real rip off

This was the worst place for food that I have tried in the whole of Dorset. The food looked like freezer food which we paid over £30 for! Disgraceful is an underestimate. Nothing is fresh. Definitely AVOID!!!!!

There was no fish in any of the items we ordered. We made a quick decision and were disappointed. Sad end to a nice holiday

Awful, just awful. Avoid at all costs. It's horrible. It's not food. I'm back home and I feel sick, trying to get this stuff out my body!!! Doesn't even deserve one star.
