Loved it! What more could you ask for? A free, fairly interactive visitor centre that educates you on the geology and history of the Purbeck coast! My son chilled out and played with some sand looking for fossils whilst I got to read up on the facts and look at the free exhibits. What’s more - the centre seemed to transition into a coffee shop and then soft store. What Joy!

Was surprised how good the visitors centre is considering it is for just one of so many costal spots in the uk, I guess Lulworth cove is very iconic.
The shop has all the usual stuff to buy, but they also have a nice little cafe a mini mueseum with lots of interesting exhibits, activities and information. The staff were kind and helpful and the place was clean and tidy.
I was a little sad that they didn't have any information or mention of the filming of the two excellent doctor who stories here (curse of fenric and the power of the doctor), as this was one of the main reasons for me wanting to visit the area.

Arrived here after a big storm and all were dry and friendly inside. Very passionate and interesting chats about rocks by the people who work there! Very helpful. Good displays of rocks and geological time frames. Rocks you can see and touch, good for buying geological maps and stuff for kids to play with, colour, sand etc.

This Visitor Centre is like a museum. It has historical and geographical exhibitions. Especially very good for children.

Has a really lovely Day spent walking around and wasn't to busy in October when we went. The weather was good and we walked all the way to durdle door from here, which is good for us as it seemed to go steadily up for quite a way. But the views are amazing when you get to the top. The centre has a very informative area to walk around and learn the history of the cove and the geology. The shops are well stocked for those trinkets you need 😁.

Fab visitors centre in lulworth, the chap we spoke to was so helpful and friendly! Cafe inside serves food, Tea and coffee a bit over priced but thats pretty normal in places like this. Loads of different walking maps to purchase at only £1 or 1.50
Also they have a little history section on the cliffs etc...and in the kids corner thing for them to do and learn. Dogs are allowed in as well.

I would definitely pay a visit. It’s great for kids, they can play with fossils, discover stones, understand the earth separation. You can buy books, there’s coffee & also a gift shop. It has 2 entrances, one next to the toilet, one from the front.

The visitor center is currently closed due to covid resulting in lower staff numbers. However the connected gift shop is open and has a big range of gifts, kids educational items, walking maps, books and bevs.

General geological info on the local area, with books for further, in depth info. Great for anyone interested, especially the average tourist.

Great place to visit. Plenty to see and do. Breath taking views. You need to be fairly fit & healthy to challenge some of the walks, take your time.

There is some great stuff in here, particulaly for little kids. There is a table with sand covering fake fossils that children can use brushes to see how fossils are exposed
