Lulworth Lodge

I highly recommend booking your stay at Lulworth Lodge. The location is spot on! Minutes away from the beach & the views from the room were absolutely beautiful. I must also say , the staff’s at the lodge were extremely helpful and kind; especially to the girl (sorry couldn’t catch your name) who helped us call a cab on a busy day! We booked the hotel as a mini birthday getaway, and they added some biscuits and delicious cakes to our room. Thank you for the lovely stay x

We didn’t stay, we just had dinner there and it was faultless. The food was beautiful and the young blonde lady who served us was amazing, extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a lovely meal!

Delicious food. Great staff. Nice cosy pub. Really recommend if visiting Lulworth cove. The steak was very very good!

Excellent food in a lovely setting. Ate on a Saturday evening, service was quick and food was really tasty. Great view of the cove from the outside seating area as well

Stayed with my husband on their special winter offer. What can we say other than brilliant! Lovely staff, delicious breakfasts, amazing evening meals, lovely room. We ate food here for dinner and were highly impressed considering how bad the food was at the restaurant right next to the sea.

I had some delicious fresh mussels with fries and my friend got the fish and chips which they too enjoyed. Definetly recommend to eat here with the limited options available for food. Did not use the hotel services so cannot comment on that.

We had dinner here twice during our stay at Lulworth Cove earlier this week. Perfect location about half-way between the car park and the cove itself. Nice inside decor, large outside dining area, friendly service, and above all excellent quality food. I had the fish & chips both nights and it was delicious. We didn't realise they had rooms, so perhaps something to consider for our next visit. It gets quite busy, so best to book in advance if you want a table inside. Recommended.

We had the most wonderful stay at Lulworth Lodge. The location can’t be better and the room is compact and very comfy. The food is really nice as well (mussels and seafood linguine are my favorite). We’re also very impressed by Amy’s and Ellie’s hospitality - we feel very taken care of!

No stars for room as didn’t stay here just had lunch. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The menu was varied and we were after a nice light lunch.

Crab sandwich and Fish finger sandwich we went for and these were absolutely delicious! Good value and good portions! Just what we needed after a long walk sightseeing 😊

We just got back from a lovely stay here. We were only meant to stay for two nights but enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed for another night. Our extra night was in room 2 and what a great room with its own terrace to relax on. The staff were so friendly and so accommodating, there wasn't a single request that wasn't too much for them. The food was lovely and we ate here several times. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we'll definitely be back.

Claire was lovely and reserved us a table for our anniversary and even came out to wish us a happy anniversary! Food is fantastic! Best cod and chips I have ever had and every meal was so tasty. Great room, beautiful view! Just a wonderful stay and wonderful staff who just do everything to make you feel welcome!

I stayed at Lulworth Lodge for a weekend in May and couldn't have had a more wonderful experience.
From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful, only adding the the hotel's homely and warm atmosphere.
We stayed in Room 7 and I was pleasantly surprised with how spacious it was, as well as clean and airy. I also appreciated the little touches such as the water bottles and menu's in the room.
During our stay we managed to have dinner and breakfast, both were delicious, the food was definitely one of the highlights.
The main highlight however, other than the perfect location, outdoor terrace and views was the staff. The team couldn't do enough to help and would always greet you with a smile.
I'd love to give a special mention to Claire, Rudo and Edward, they each unknowingly made my weekend that little bit more special and are the reason I hope to return to the hotel one day (or year after year).

I was having an afternoon out to Lulworth and discovered this wonderful restaurant. I had the filet of sea team. It was excellent full of flavour really enhanced by the squeeze of lemon juice. The fish skin crispy to perfection. I sat in the garden overlooking the wonderful view of the bay and cliffs drinking their great pale ale. Just what I needed after a hot trek to Durdle Door. The staff were very friendly. I didn’t stay there as only live an hour away.

I had lunch at Lulworth Lodge recently and I was very impressed with the food. The nibbles were fantastic, especially the patatas bravas and the grilled sardines. The bread with the dips was also delicious. I also had the cream tea for dessert, which was the perfect way to end the meal. The scones were light and fluffy, and the clotted cream and jam were delicious.

The service was also excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they made sure that we had everything we needed. Overall, I had a wonderful lunch at Lulworth Lodge and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Menu and food at the restaurant are absolutely fantastic! The patio to the side is dog-friendly. You seat yourself and go inside to the bar to place your order. Just make sure you look at your table number before you give your order.

I had the cod and chips and the scallops. The cod was massive—bigger than my head. Everything was delicious.

From certain tables on the patio, there’s a gorgeous view of the ocean.

Stayed here 02/23. We have large dog and made to feel so welcome. The staff are kind and helpful going the extra mile at every opportunity. The location is incredible with great walks right on the lodge doorstep. The food was excellent. Crab sandwich and pork belly were highlights. Can't wait to stay again.

Went to the restaurant in and got served by two amazing ladies called Rose and Clare, amazing customer service that made us feel at ease and took extra care of. Will definitely be coming back.

Stopped here for lunch, best crab sandwiches we have had in a long time and great/attentative service in a sceanic location. We will be back/recommending you.

We had an amazing stay in the Lodge Suite. Lovely view down to the sea.
Food was to a really good standard and we could hear compliments coming all the tables around us as well. Staff were helpful and friendly. Such a lovely location for a short break. We will definitely visit again when we can.

Staff were excellent and couldn't do enough, highly recommended. Before parking though just double check you've applied for a permit, much cheaper than paying the fees. £3 per day as opposed to £12.
Situated halfway down the hill to the Cove and the bottom of the mighty climb to Durdle Door. Well worth the walk though.
Would also recommend the boat ride to Durdle Door, only takes 20 minutes but gives you another alternative.
