Travelodge Ludlow

A very last minute booking after car breaking down on a long drive. I usually steer clear of travel lodge due to prior bad experiences with cleanliness however. I could not fault this travel lodge. It was clean. Comfortable. Easy check in and check out. Nice bath. Perfect for what we needed.

Nice pub/restaurant right next door

Easy to get to hotel,with a large parking outside. Welcoming atmosphere, polite receptionist. Clean and tidy in and outside. Room was clean, spacious and well equipped. Bathroom was clean and water pressure was very good. Beautiful views outside. Very nice pub/restaurant 50 metres away. Supermarket and a petrol station also walking distance away. Short drive to Shropshire Hills.

Only complaint was no shower gel in dispenser which was only discovered whilst having a shower! All aspects of our stay was excellent. Easy check in and out with great staff, Trevor.

Have used this hotel several years in a row it provides clean comfortable accommodation for value when booked way in advance. My only criticism would be that Travel Lodge charge too much on their rates when you book last minute

Good price and clean, tidy room. A quiet place enough with parking.

Great location for visiting Ludlow. The rooms are straightforward Travelodge but the staff are excellent. Yes you will have trouble all logging on with the prepaid WiFi (If you've done that) but the lass on the counter sorted that straight away. The Squirrel pub next door welcomed us well and fed us well too. Hats-off the the team there. Great combo of hotel & pub with its proximity to Ludlow. There's a petrol station right next door too.

One of the best location near Ludlow castle. It just 15-20 min walk away from city center and castle. Nice quite area. Rooms were very clean to my statisfactory expectation. Service was nice. Though we have requested baby cot for our toddler but it was not arranged. Staff helped us in every manner in their capacity to accommodate us in other room. Cheers to that. On site premises has free parking and it quite well lit area.
Co-op grocery shop is just a min away from Travelodge just in case if you need anything in last min.

Carding mill valley is just 20 min drive from here. So overall location and services, cleanliness we are very much satisfied with it and would love to come back again.

This is a lovely little Travelodge.
Lovely friendly staff very clean.
Doesn't have a bar or cafe.
Which isn't no problem at as there is a lovely pub on site.
You can get a lovely breakfast does fantastic. I will Definitely be stopping at this Travelodge again. convenient for Ludlow town too.

Clean warm room the perfect one night stop, the squirrel pub next door is great for an evening meal, we can recommend the gammon and pie of the day for breakfast there is a little place over the main road on the industrial estate called "what's cooking" eat in or takeaway on Orleton Road 2 mins walk away

We stayed for one night while attending a nearby wedding. Very friendly reception staff who checked us in with ease. Room was tidy and the bed was comfortable. Definitely worth considering if attending an event near Ludlow.

Ludlow was a stop over for us. A very small town with lots to see. Plenty of local amenities. I’d definitely recommend this Travelodge for location, price and service.
Be sure to visit ‘the squirrel’🐿 next door. Great Food, great prices, friendly service.

Good place to stay, limited parking, 3 disabled bays. Next to a garage/mini coop shop. Next to the squirrel pub. Near to a sainsbury supermarket.
Nice and clean off the main road easy access to Ludlow centre and surrounding area, had to request beakers for toothbrushing and bath mats. Dimples on bottom of bath/shower worn off making it extremely slipping. Staff helpful. Good price will use again. Little better than the travel lodge further up the road.

Very quiet room with all clean, basic facilities. Pub next door for a meal and Co op fuel station and shop. Worked very well for us and our dog.

First time visited would def recomend. Lovely and comfortable room. Excellent staff and very quiet.

Exceptionally clean and well kept Travelodge, staff very very welcoming and friendly especially Trevor on reception,. You can clearly see that the staff have pride in their jobs!

Great location too just a 20 min walk to the centre of town
