Helen’s Chocolates

Got myself some very nice Helen’s White Chocolate. My bag included a funny little note from a young child whom was hiding behind the counter too!

Lovely shop for a little sweet treat!

Just had the vegan chocolates by #thechocolatier annesh popat. Delicious! I think the chilli lime was my favourite. Perfect balance between the heat of the chilli and zing of the lime. Salted caramels mylk and dark are both rich in flavour. Can recommend to all vegans and non vegans looking for a treat. Thanks Helen's chocolates!

What an amazing choice of chocolates, I bought a selection and wasn’t disappointed, every one was delicious. The staff were really helpful and polite. Shop was lovely and clean and well set out, it didn’t look that big from the outside, but once inside, the choice is exceptional. I also had a box made up for my daughters birthday, which was beautifully wrapped, all ready to give to her. Definitely going to buy some online once I get hope, watch out friends and family that’s your birthdays sorted for the foreseeable lol.

I have visited Helen's many times and am always very impressed with the quality and freshness of the chocolates. However I wasn't sure what to expect when I recently placed an order online for a hand picked box for my Mum's Birthday. I needn't have worried. The whole experience of ordering and paying for the chocolates was easy. I received a confirmation email and also an update to advise that the chocs were on their way. I received the chocs about three days after placing the order. They were extremely well packaged and having now shared some with Mum, can highly recommend them. They taste as delicious and fresh as if I had bought them in the shop. Well done Helen for a great customer experience and a fantastic product.

I was lucky enough to win a box of chocolates right before Christmas and what lovely timing to be able to enjoy these wonderful chocolates over the festive period! They are such good quality and the flavours are amazing! I especially loved the cupcake chocolates with the caramel inside, really delicious! They also look very beautiful inside the box. If I hadn’t gone dairy free again for the New Year I would of been ordering another box for a special occasion but I realise that you do vegan chocolates too so that won’t be a problem after all! I can’t wait to try your dairy free chocolates soon! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to try your selection box. If I am ever in your area I would love to visit your shop.

Gorgeous little chocolate. Really tasty too

I bought chocolates for a friend’s birthday, and they advised these are the best chocolates they have ever eaten. As a major chocoholic who I buy chocolates for every year, this is high praise. Also, beautifully packaged and fast delivery.

I ordered online from this shop, during Lockdown. It was my husbands up and coming 75th birthday, I wanted to make up a hamper of goodies so took to
the Internet to find things.
I ordered 48 of the select your own chocolate’s.
Being a confirmed chocoholic I have tasted chocolate from all over the world.
Ordering blind so to speak was a little concerning, however on arrival and on tasting two chocolates on the morning of my husbands birthday, any qualms were completely erased.
These chocolates completed wowed me. They are truly awesome, the box is simple yet classy which is great because no one wants the box to outdo the gift. I can say to anyone who is contemplating ordering these, don’t hesitate! do it!!! you won’t be disappointed.
They are rich enough to know you have chosen class, but still have that “just one more” factor that a good chocolate has.

Try them you will love them, they are my go to gift for my friends and relatives from now on.

Delicious, melt in the mouth chocolates. A true sensory experience. Thick outer chocolate with delicious creamy centres. The presentation and personal touches are delightful and enhance an already wonderful shopping experience. I purchase Online and the service is über slick. I just keep coming back for more.

I visited Helen's Chocolates in November 2018 on a day trip to Windermere with my daughter and son in law who live in Manchester. Lovely little shop with a wonderful selection of beautifully presented chocolates, which tasted amazing. I also bought a mug and coaster to remember my visit to you. I ordered a ballotin self selection box last week on line to send to my daughter and son in law in Manchester as I haven't been able to see them since last Christmas due to the current situation. They arrived this morning and my daughter is over the moon as it was a surprise. She has sent me photos of the beautifully presented gift box. She hadn't opened them yet as the box was so pretty. I am so pleased with this order and the service. I know she will enjoy them from having tasted them previously. Thankyou! I will definitely order from you again.

Really top stuff in every way. Amazing chocs, brilliant family run service. The choc orange straws and cherry in Kirsch are to die for. Always visit when in the lakes for some take home treats and order online when not

The fudge and handmade chocolate I tried at Helen's chocolates in Bowness were excellent. I particularly enjoyed their award-winning fudge - amazing texture and not crystallised and sugary as many can be. Truly melt in the mouth! I recommend a visit to Helen's chocolates shop if you are in the Cumbria area.

Helens Chocolates is the best chocolate shop I have come across, so much so that both me and my partner frequently travel from liverpool to windermere to visit the store and then feed the ducks. It's such a lovely place to be, very traditional and the sweeties are out of this world, Helen herself is a star too...I highly recommend a visit.

Beautiful shop been a customer for over25 years , they just keep getting better, if all shops were as good with quality and service at these levels all the high streets would be thriving!

Such an extensive and lush collection of chocolates. The gentleman behind the counter was so knowledgeable and talkative.
I guess it seems pricey, but it's artisan chocolates that are so flavorful so it's worth it

Helen is such a pleasure to deal with her service could not be better. The chocolates are amazing and there is so much to choose from. Highly recommended to everyone, definitely go in there if you are passing!!!! xx

I would like to write this review after I received a beautiful box of sugar free chocolates ready for Easter for my husband this wasn’t what I had originally order but I was beaten by seconds by somebody else for the last Easter egg however Helen desperately tried to get hold of me and eventually did and we had a lovley conversation she was incredible helpful so I would like to say thank you Helen for your help and the lovley box of chocolates I definitely will order again 😀
