A completely wonderful experience.

The staff: Very attentive, polite and courteous.

The food: Succulent, well presented and served in generous portions.

The atmosphere: Beautifully decorated, not too busy and the music was relaxing. Very cosy.

The service: Very quick and efficient.

Overall: One of the nicest places I have eaten at whilst being in the Lake District. A brilliant evening with food that makes you want to come back for more.

We had such a wonderful dinner at this place! I regret we did not try this sooner while we were in Bowness. The storefront looks somewhat unassuming but don’t let it deceive you! The food is amazing. We ordered fish, pad thai, curry and some satays. Dessert (mango with sticky rice) was truly unique and heavenly! Even my kids loved the food. Service was fast too and staff friendly and helpful when we were asking (many) questions about the food. They are trained esp for busy times as there were lots of guests that night and still efficient.

No food was left on our table that night! Needless to say, we left the restaurant with happy tummies. Please, don’t be fooled by some reviews and comments, do give it a try and see for yourselves. Enjoy authentic thai food at Jintana!

We really enjoyed our meal here. Would recommend the Som Tum and the sweetcorn fritters. The place looks small at first but there is plenty of seating upstairs. Service was good and friendly too.

Lively experience here. Very authentic Thai food with a variety of choice. The fried rice inside of the pineapple was crispy and tasty. Coconut rice was fragrance and go really well with my red curry.

Our servers was really nice even though we didn't have an appointment. They even run up and down to deliver food to our table which are not suppose to happen.talk about going the extra mile!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! From the moment we stepped in, the staff made sure our every need was taken care of. The environment and setting was absolutely beautiful and then, the food! It was absolutely spectacular. Every dish with beautiful delicate flavours and I'd have to say the best Thai we have sampled. And the drinks superb as well. We may just return tomorrow for dinner as well!
Beautiful meal, beautiful surroundings, divine food!

Highly recommend the coconut rice. It tastes good and rich of sweet coconut flavour. A nice place with beautiful decoration. Staff is helpful.

Excellent Food…
Just awesome!!! Far more better than our expectations. We had wonderful visit last night there.
We ordered Pad Thai with King Prawn and Khao Pad (Fried Rice with Prawns). Taste was so delicious and Presentation was outstanding… Special thanks to the Chef.
We will come back soon….

Ate here this weekend and can safely say we were blown away. The service was friendly and efficient, never felt rushed or that the courses arrived too quickly. The staff made you feel welcome and could not do enough for you.
The food was exceptional and of an extremely high standard.
We can't wait to return.

We were quite reluctant to visit due to the abundance of negative reviews, however, our love of Thai food got the better of us and we decided to give it a try. The food was absolutely spot on, as were the drinks! I grew up in Southeast Asia, and have been to Thailand at least 50 times in my life, and can confidently say that the flavours were incredibly authentic, tangy, spicy, sweet and the rest of it. It was also the detail, our sticky rice came in traditional bamboo baskets and the crockery resembled Thailand and its culture. The waiter was lovely, and the ambience even better. We aren’t from Windemere but if we ever come back, we’re definitely coming back to Jintana! Thank you for the delicious food and experience!

Also, thought it’s worth mentioning as I’ve seen a lot of poor reviews for this reason, to anyone who is about to leave a 1 star review for a ‘watery’ jungle curry; it’s supposed to be that way, as has traditionally been cooked in Thailand for centuries, just give it a google :)

Surprisingly authentic Thai food in the heart of the Lake district. All of the dishes we ordered were delicious and we cannot recommend this place highly enough for anyone who wants to try the real Thai cuisine. A special mention must go to the fried corn cobs. They were mouthwatering, so don't let yourself down and do order them for starters. The only criticism I have is that the dessert portion sizes were a bit too large, so please consider serving maybe half the size.

Since we were the only ones in the restaurant, the service was excellent. The food was also excellent with incredible flavors. My only negative is the portions are on the small side for the money but I still wanted to give them five stars because it was so good...😊

We had an amazing meal here we ordered jungle curry, chicken panang, sticky rice, spring rolls and noodles. The food was very good and nicely presented. The service was 11/10 very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant had a very chilled vibe and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, we will definitely be back.

Spent a few days in Bowness and had tea here. Simply the best Thai Green Curry I've ever had.

Amazing. The service is faster than a cheetah and the mango mocktail was simply amazing. You dont need to hear anything else and yes the place is exactly like it sounds. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants basically the best food in windermere.
