It's still a great ride. The acceleration never fails to catch me off guard! Love it! The queues can get long and take a while to get through sometimes but mostly fairly smooth.
Im a UK size 20 and still got comfortably.

Rita is a launch coaster that shoots you from 0-60 in 2 seconds. Very smooth ride that you need to keep glued to your seat for!
Push your head back into the headrest and hold on to the bars in front, trust me, you'll need it! You're shot out of the launch pad at a crazy speed, and then get bouts of negative G which sends you floating out of your seat at times.
And then it's over in a flash. Not a very long ride, but definitely worth it.

Super fast launch, if you're tall like me at 6"4 the ride will batter you about and leave you bruised but not hurt. Great ride, scary fast

As far as Intamin accelerated coasters go Rita is a solid addition to the park with a forceful launch of 60mph, banked turns and twisty airtime hills, themed around trying to escape from the grasp of the Dark Forest. It rides better at night (scarefest) and normally has the longest ques so would suggest getting there for the 10.30 opening of the Dark Forest. Front row is worth the additional waiting time as you feel the full force of the launch, if not I would advise the back row for additional force throughout the circuit.

My favourite ride at the park, hands down. Just wish it was longer! You get some great airtime and out of your seat moments, the initial blast off is SO much fun and I just adore Rita. If I could live on this ride I would.

Thrill Factor: 9/10
Age Suitable Range: 10+ years
Theming: 7/10
Ride length to average queue time ratio: 7/10
Worth fast tracking: Yes

With a medium ride time Rita isn't worth more than an hour and a half queue really, if you really want a ride on a busy day it's better just to fast track to the front of the queue as fast as the Queen Of Speed herself!

I went on this with my high school. We had some kind of special access pass, so we wouldn't have to queue up. It was fun and fast and a real wake up after I'd spent almost 1 ½ Hours in the car ride there. But people, please stop lowering your reviews because of queuing times. The ride can't help that. So, because of how fun it was, 5/5.

Loved this ride. Its short but really fast. It shoots you off at speed then goes round a few tight bends and that's it but it's still amazing you'll be wishing it was longer.

Insane Ride

The launch feels WAY faster when you are on it than it does just watching it in the queue. Wish the ride lasted a bit longer but the Rush of the launch and the cool layout you go round at high speeds is worth it.

Tip for Adrenaline Junkies. When you launch at the start, don't hold on to anything because that way it feels a lot scarier and cooler

It was all over too quickly but a great ride. If you want front seats, you can wait a bit longer. Would recommend 👌

Short fast ride well worth a go but I would say try to get on it when queue times are lowest. Not peak times it's over too quick to be waiting an Hr or so.
Amazing to think that a Tesla roadster can pull away faster!

60 minute wait for a 20 second ride but it was amazing. The speed looks ridiculous from above but it is even faster. The ride is only 20-30 seconds but it's amazing.

Great ride but you need fast-track.
See Smiler review - all rides the same.

Bloody scary. I thought I was getting launched Into space....similar to the Thorpe Park Stealth...I think Rita tops it due to the length of the ride. Waiting times are long however. But worth it....

Faster and more punishing than I remember, it must be 20 years since I last rode this coaster and it certainly takes its toll on the old bodily particles 😬

Absolutely terrified of rollercoasters the acceleration at the start really is something! I screamed before the rode started and carried on the whole ride!

Amazing ride!! Probably one of the best ones in the UK. The que may be quite long be it is worth the wait. Would not recommend it while it is raining as the rain felt like stones hitting your face. But everything about this ride was amazing you should try it.
