Kings Arms Hotel

Spent a smashing week here recently. Very welcoming and friendly. Room was very clean and comfy, as was the bed. En suite was good and an efficient shower.
Other reviews have commented on the noise from the pub/people leaving but we didn't have any any issues at all.
Car park could get quite congested but didn't effect our enjoyable stay.
Room cleaned daily and ample supplies of water/tea/coffee etc.
Nice touch was the daily breakfast bag, including porridge, croissants, flapjacks etc as well as a piece of fruit and a drink.
Martin and all the staff are doing a grand job!

Popped in for Sunday lunch without reservation and they kindly fitted us in. Excellent carvery and service and good value. Will try to book next time so no chance of disappointment.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere. Room spacious and very clean. Comfy bed and a good night's sleep. Shower was very clean. Lots of room and large shower head. Also a lovely breakfast bag given on arrival with biscuits and flap jack. Croissant, porridge and a red apple. Lovely for us that have to leave very early. Thank you 😊.

Cannot comment on the rooms as I have not stayed there. Food and bar excellent and staff very pleasant.

From the moment we arrived Amy was extremely helpful, even finding a secure place to store our tandem cycle overnight. The room was lovely, clean, comfortable and well appointed. We ate in the bar and the food was great with generous portions and all reasonably priced.

Had a lovely stopover while cycle touring in Norfolk, many thanks.

A very good pub (I've not used the hotel).
Good quality alcohol served from the two bar sections. They serve hot food as well.
There are multiple televisions throughout the pub including the outdoor seating areas, playing the News and Sports everyday. There's also a small carpark.
Back inside there is a pool table area with a dartboard, games machines and a jukebox (although music plays through out the day from the bar).
The staff are always friendly and well mannered

Had a great time during our stay there was an impromptu rock a Billy band playing on the Saturday night, who were great. The carpark was a bit small but that said, we had no problems parking during our stay. My only bug bear was that I had to give my bank card details which were just written on a piece of paper (anybody could have got their hands on) but I was assured it would be locked in the office and touch wood, almost 2 weeks on and there have been no suspect transactions on my account.

Excellent pub and hotel very friendly staff beer garden was great and the most cleanest pub /hotel I've been to the rooms were great .

Ate here with my family twice whilst on holiday in the area. Both times were great. Lovely, friendly staff, great food and generous portions. Decent beer for the husband too!

Very impressed with all Covid protocols. Check in was a breeze and my room was immaculate throughout. Lovely hot shower and a very comfortable bed with quality bed linen (always a good sign!)
The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.

I popped in this place for a meal and a couple of pints.
The food was enjoyable and the service excellent, well done Victoria you made our experience enjoyable.

The food here is average (which is not a bad thing by my standards) and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Ales are kept well and the lines are clean.
They are currently offering face screens for a small donation to the NHS, which is novel to me. Yes I'd return here again. My other half would return if only to marvel at the intimacy of the ladies toilets 😂

Stayed here for 2 nights. Nice room and bar. Drinks good food great, staff very helpful. Strange though sat inside 1st night and had a meal and drinks no problem. Next night sat outside and had to pay everytime I needed a drink..the man said its because I'm sitting outside. But I was staying there!!!!!

2nd stay here...great place good food and beer. Great staff and service..even same room..must be getting a regular!!

I am staying at the Kings Arms at present. Immaculate twin room. Staff excellent and friendly. Too many names to mention! All the way from Bar, Chef and housekeeping. Food excellent and plentiful. Can't thank Kings Arms enough ,for accommodating me at a very difficult time.

Lovely place to eat and drink...whilst didn't spend the night so can't rate the rooms..it was friendly..not to packed...but by far from empty..big spacious open areas..outside smoking area..and relatively normal prices..no complaints

Fantastic experience. Fabulous food. Great service. Outdoor seating lovely garden area. Sunny little hot-spot. Friendly staff. Staff under pressure from having to serve outside. Roll on the 17th May. 👍😎

4 of us called yesterday evening on our way back from walking. We hadn't booked. The staff were very friendly, all the premises were very clean and the food was excellent . Thank you to all. The chips were the best ever!
