Exceptional experience! I have 2 conures already but the experience buying the latest member ‘Cherry’ was great. The staff are super polite and well informed. I really appreciated the recommendations and tips shared by Chris. Although I have had birds for over 15 years, it was fantastic to buy from a place where the birds are well looked after and loved. Thank you for the amazing experience and if I ever decide to expand the family, I will be returning here.

We bought a tortoise from Adlington pet centre 2 months ago, we have never owned a tortoise before but our daughter has wanted one for over a year and convinced us that she was ready. We spoke to the team beforehand and they talked us through tortoise care and set up and when we came to the store they were amazing, they answered all our daughters questions, spent over an hour with us helping us make the right and informed choice. When we chose our tortoise they talked us through the specifics of setting up to ensure she would be happy and spent another 30 minutes helping us get to know her properly and how to handle and clean her. Peach (as the tortoise is now known) has been with us for 2 months, I couldn't recommend the team at Adlington enough, they were fantastic, really knowledgeable and nice and assured us to let them know if we ever had any questions. Superb service all round and thanks from all of us (especially Peach 🐢)

Had known for a while we wanted a bird we felt we would know the bird right for us. It's a welcoming store with a wealth of knowledge of all the animals there. We were able to go to the bird room and handle the bird we had chosen.
We were given lots of information on how to look after our ,"Buddy" and they had in stock everything we needed to bring him home.
All the pets were well cared for and clean cages. Everything you want from a pet store.

We went today looking for a budgie, and Chris was more than helpful with any questions and provided us with more than enough information, gave us tips as we’re first time owners , very professional would 100% recommend. Our little fluffy (named by our son) has settled in great🥰

Fantastic shop with a plethora of natural products, brilliant staff, always a pleasure to stop in weekly for our dogs favourite treats

Adlington Pets are amazing! We bought a baby budgie for my daughter.They gave her all the information she needed, supplied everything we needed at a reasonable price and even showed her how to handle him! They could not do enough to help and spent time making
sure we was comfortable with our purchase. The budgies looked very healthy and cared for. Thankyou so much for all your help!

Purchased Sherlock my new Budgie, I had no clue what I needed thank fully the lady spent a lot of time explaining what was required. She could of easy sold lots of extras but sold me just what I needed.

Amazing staff so friendly and made sure you know what your new pet needs I got a baby tortoise today he's gorgeous and so friendly will definitely be back thank you for a friendly welcome and reserving the baby for me till I got there. 5 * can't wait to come back worth the 2 hr drive

Highly recommend. I travelled from Darlington on a recommendation and it was worth it. Our little Quaker Parrot has been home a few days now. He is an absolute delight. The communication from Chris via email and phone beforehand was brilliant. The staff on the day couldn’t do enough to help, went above and beyond. It’s clear to see how well looked after and loved the animals and birds are by the staff. The staff show empathy, care and give sound advice. Thank you so much. Hedwig is very happy and settled at home, he loves my 9yr old and spends lots of time snuggling onto him. Would absolutely visit again

Our go to pet shop for everything we need for our animals, always met with super friendly staff!
Today I went to buy some bits for a collection for an animal rescue centre and when I was asked if I needed help and I explained what I was doing, the very kind lady working there went and got some bits from the back and gave me so many things for the collection. So kind, thank you so so much!!
