Thank you to the amazing engineer Darren who came out, diagnosed our washing machine issue, part was ordered and delivered and installed by the next day! Amazing service!! Reasonable charges, super quick and excellent level of service. I highly recommend!

In a world where customer service seems to have gone down the drain, searles went above and beyond to help us out with a dishwasher issue (the faulty dishwasher wasn't initially from Searles by the way) replacing our dishwasher in only a few hours of buying it! I cannot recommend the service we received from Searle's highly enough. Replacing oven and hob (so old that some parts no longer available, and others would cost more to repair than buy new), we visited their shop (an absolute gem of a find for all things electrical) to chose replacements. These were fitted the following morning. Very courteous and helpful shop staff members and installers. The cost of the repair visit was waived as we had then purchased from them.

When a major kitchen appliance reaches the end of it's life, it's essential to get a replacement as quickly as possible. Add a requirement as in our case, to find an integrated, in-column larder fridge with very specific measurements, this increases the challenge immensely. One phone call to Searle's describing what we needed, who phoned back within minutes, having been able to source the very model we wanted. Order then placed and within days, the new fridge was installed and the old one taken away. The level of service was superb throughout. Price was competitive especially as they were able to complete a very professional installation using their own fitter. Very happy indeed.

I always say a company's true colours come through when things go a little wrong. We recently bought a dishwasher from Searle & Son. The chaps delivered the well priced dishwasher quickly and efficiently. We also paid the extra to have the old appliance and all rubbish taken away which was all carried out very professionally.
The van drivers did however dent our postbox when leaving our house. J Searle & Son allowed me to buy a replacement and refunded me speedily with no quibble. This is excellent customer service.

We've always received excellent service from Searle's of Buckfastleigh but today they have even surpassed themselves. Within three hours of reporting a fault on our Hotpoint oven a lovely young man called Darren called & fitted a new heating element with zero fuss and bother. Fantastic service.

Parents just bought a new freezer from Searle. Very competitive price like for like, will take away old freezer for small amount. They brought their kitchen equipment 24 years ago and every appliance since. 7 star service and really lovely people to deal with.

Visited the shop morning of 18th October to enquire about a new ceramic hob. Very helpful lady assisted me and, after discussing with my husband when I got home, I phoned to order. To my surprise I was offered an installation that afternoon! The gentleman who did the installation was very respectful - wore a mask throughout his time in the house. He had to spend a bit longer than normal for a hob installation as it wouldn't quite fit in the place where the old one was removed, but it was all done without complaint. In addition, because J Searle is part of the Euronics group, I got a promotional warranty extension from 1 year to 3 years free of charge. The cost of the hob was very competitive in the first place, as was the installation charge (which included taking away the old hob). In short, on the basis of my experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Searle's and they will be my first port-of-call for electrical goods in future.

**Liebherr fridge/freezer** Used J. Searle and Son again recently, this time to buy a fridge freezer. After doing some online research we worked out what we thought we needed and gave them a bell. The upshot was that although they had what we were going to buy, they came up with a better recommendation. The price was good, delivery very quick and efficient and they installed the Liebherr and took away our old fridge freezer for specialist re-cycling. This is the third time we’ve used the firm in the last ten years. We also organised a replacement washing machine from them for an elderly relative when their old one broke down during the first Lock-down. We highly recommend J. Searle and Son. I would like to highlight excellent customer service from Searles. We had had a torrid time with another retailer and needed specific advice on which model appliance we needed. Darren came out to see us. He was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and attentive to our requirements. He recommended a model to fit the space. There was an unavoidable delay in us being able to have the appliance here but the store were very understanding and there was no sales pressure. Darren installed it yesterday and we are delighted. The price was the same on the internet.

A local domestic appliance engineer certified my washing machine dead. A pain, as it was just 3 months out of guarantee. Anyway, he suggested I contacted Searles, who had the model I wanted in stock.
Delivery, installation of new and removal of old appliance the next morning. Competitive prices, lovely local service, pleasant and helpful staff.

Speedy service, kept me informed throughout and the staff that came to fit the washer/dryer were considerate in their fitting and thoughtful in their advice. First class service and great to know that I can pick the phone up to to a local provider and get a good response should I need to - which I don't expect to until I need to order something else.

I rent 3 items from them and I have to say the service is amazing if any faults most are sorted the same day. My dishwasher was stuck, I phoned them and within two hours of phone call a new dishwasher was in and on, the old one taken no mess no hassle.
