The Barn Cafe

First visit here on recommendations from atleast 4 of my work colleagues! All came very highly rated. My partner and I were looking for a new place to dine and the Barn Cafe didn't disappoint. We arrived a little earlier than planned but the lovely lad sat us down as our table was all ready for us. Brilliant selection on the menus, the staff were so friendly and the place itself looked so homely. We barely had a wait for our food and my god, the size was astounding! We've paid similar prices in other places and only had a smidge of what was on our plate here today. Very happy indeed! Fabulous prices and even better portion sizes!! I had the hunters chicken and the chicken was just melt in your mouth! My partner said he had the best roast he'd had out in a long time! As other customers were leaving, the staff were quick to clean and lay for the next customers, they were very efficient! There wasn't a mess in sight, which reflects on how well the staff coordinate alongside each other! Clean venue, lovely staff members and brilliant quality food. I'll be visiting again and I'll be sure to recommend to all my friends and family. A hidden gem!!

Had a wonderful meal today for Mothers Day, a beautiful roast lamb, beef roast & hubby had the sirloin steak! This place never dissapoints!! Absolutely amazing food, attentive staff, clean & welcoming and Monica (the owner) is a lovely lady. A Mother’s Day to remember. Thank you 💐

My wife and I visited for breakfast this morning and the new proprietors were very welcoming. The breakfast was just perfect and service was exceptional.

Our first visit to this lovely little restaurant & the reviews don't lie. Great service by friendly helpful staff, the food was cooked to perfection,(eggs Benedict & full English) & all for a great price. Definitely worth a visit, although I would recommend booking judging by the amount of tables pre booked on Sunday morning.

Sunday Lunch First ever visit .Absolutely superb service. Staff were all super friendly very very efficient. Service was fast, and the food was superb. I've never had lamb cooked so that it fell apart on the fork .Plate came out with lots of meat ,lots of meat mash ,parsnip Yorkshire etc ,then came the massive bowl of vegetables. Desert was just as nice and the bill was far less than I expected to pay .May even become our favourite. Highly recommended.

Our first visit here and definately won’t be our last, the service was quick and staff very polite. We had the roast chicken and a roast lamb dinner, both superb. There was so much meat too and the lamb very lean, plenty of vegetables and lovely big roast potatoes. I’d have liked dessert but we were too full. We’ll be back to sample more off your delicious menu

I dined at The Barn Cafe for the first time today, and I must say I am very impressed! I had the jacket potato with chili con carne, salad, and a side of cheesy tortilla chips. Generous portions of delicious food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and an all around positive atmosphere! Will definitely be returning back.

Popped in here based on a local business recommendation. All the staff were very nice, polite and helpful and checked in to make sure food was good. Nice layout, and the cafe was kept very clean. Food was good, I had a full breakfast, tea and coffee and it was really good and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend to stop when passing by for a bite to eat and a drink.

Had a delightful afternoon tea for 6 people to celebrate a 60th birthday. Food was delicious and staff extremely helpful and attentive. Prices very good. They were happy for me to bring in my own birthday cake and they brought it out when asked. Didn’t feel rushed so has a pleasant few hours

Brilliant service, friendly staff and the food was with us very quick, cooked Perfectly And lovely environment. I Had a 6oz flame, grilled burger & chips. I will be revisiting this establishment very soon. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Been twice now, for brunch. 2friends had the goulash and loved it, l had the prawn sandwich, fab., huge tasty prawns and perfect bread. 2nd. time l took home the sea bass for my husband, a real gourmet, we heated it up for dinner and it was simply perfect, and enough for two.The best food we've ever had.The café looks delightful, flowers. lights, fragrance. The service brilliant.Well done Mo and Flo, we'll be back.xx🤩

My family and I came here for breakfast on saturday, lovely atmosphere, great food with massive portions! High quality meat and nothing was too greasy. I'd highly recommend.

Whether breakfast, lunch or Sunday lunch all fabulous. Staff very friendly and attentive, food excellent and price so reasonable, value for money. Definitely our go-to eatery. Highly recommended.
