Castle Cafe

Ate and drank in here twice when we were away on a family holiday. Once as we were walking past for coffee n cake and then arranged to go for breakfast the next day. Very friendly service and excellent food. We were made to feel very welcome with our Dalmatian dog who was treated as well as we were with water and treats. Would highly recommend a visit .

Lovely cafe! Delicious, locally-sourced ingredients, especially the sausages! And the owners are so welcoming & warm. One of the best English breakfasts ever!

I am a cyclist, or at least try to be. I got caught in an awful rain storm, was soaked, freezing, and pretty miserable. Then, to rub salt into the wounds, I got a puncture.
My hands were too cold to even try to change the tube, but luckily I was going past the Castle Cafe. The staff were incredibly kind. They let me warm up in the cafe, and even bring my wheel inside to allow me to change my tire. They even offered me a complementary coffee (I did not have an money) to allow me to warm-up. The coffee was amazing!
I could not recommend this cafe enough. A great local business. I will certainly be stopping by again.

Popped in for lunch with my girls today. Made to feel very welcome! Good choice of food and drinks (I had a jacket potato and the girls had paninis and chips). We all really enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back again!!

Excellent breakfast!! The Sausages & Bacon were perfect and supplied by one of the local butchers. 10/10!

Lovely village cafe. Great range of coffees, cakes, sandwiches. Wide range of breakfasts, takeout available from 7am. What's not to like. Looking forward to going back soon.
