Enjoyed a lovely 2-night stay here while exploring the local area. Hot tip: don't miss the White Horse pub, just a few minutes (or even a short walk) away for superb house-made pizza and an immense beer selection. Rooms here (we stayed in "The Bakery") are cozy and romantic and heavy on character. Hosts are onsite and happy to answer questions and make recommendations. Highly recommended.

One of the best holidays we have ever had ❤ Beautiful cottage with indoor fireplace, high ceilings and a homely vibe. We loved waking up to birdsong every morning & taking in the tranquil vibes. Mark the host was so hospitable, amazing with recommendations & accommodating for a last minute change as we had to just stay one extra night.

10/10 would recommend to anyone, we will be back! And we definitely recommend booking The Anchor Inn in Nayland by the water for a gorgeous outdoor Sunday pub lunch in the sunshine.

My partner and our puppy Buckley spent 4 nights at Rose Cottage this summer and couldn't have had a more lovely time. The cottage was cosy and so beautiful, surrounded by so much green space and an amazing acre of orchard for the dog to run around in, which he adored! The property was spotless and very comfortable, and the owners have thought of every detail to e sure you have a brilliant stay, including folders of local walks and pubs and even a chilled bottle of prosecco waiting in the fridge when we arrived! We will definitely be back and have recommended Grove Cottages to all of our friends.

We had a wonderful stay at the charming, and beautifully decorated, Orchard Cottage, surrounded by lovely grounds and countryside beyond. Our host was very friendly and welcoming to us and our dog. The cottage was really cosy and comfortable. A relaxing break that felt all too short! Highly recommended.

A relaxing stay in Rose Cottage, just what we needed. Totally away from hustle and bustle of life. However everything you could need to make your stay comfortable. Great walks through the countryside. Bikes are an added bonus too.. Can recommend the Fox and Hounds in Groton for a meal which was a good walk away, staff very friendly. The owners of Grove Cottages are so friendly, wouldn't hesitate to ask them for anything but we didn't need to.... Everything had been taken into consideration. True professionals.

Just stayed again in Kersey, at one of Grove Cottages' best properties. It's so peaceful, a beautiful medieval house, with a gorgeous garden - and almost opposite the historic Bell Inn. Great service and support from the Grove team and we were well-looked after by Joanna locally. Strongly recommended.

Great place for a break, not too far from London. You get the countryside feel with a touch of luxury. If you're a keen cook, bring some of your important pieces of gear: the kitchen is equipped but for basic needs. Beautiful and thoughtful touches are throughout, from a earthy welcome pack to the Christmas music already in the CD player.

Delightful stay on our honeymoon, especially having grown up in the area. Friendly greeting, lovely local produce on arrival, and extremely well-placed (we stayed in Rose Cottage) in relation to Sudbury, as well as being walking distance - along a very pleasant route - from an excellent pub, the White Horse. Highly recommended, any time of year.

Been here a few times and I've got to say each time is outstanding. Just to chill out or to plot up in the garden and gave a drink and bbq then you won't be disappointed.
