We traveled over 200 miles specifically to get our first taste of Cromer crab, and we weren't disappointed. It was snug and busy and we were lucky enough to get the last table for 2. Charming decor and a display of tempting goodies on display. We triumphantly ordered our crab salad, with a single large Norfolk sausage roll to share as a starter which was delicious. The main event quickly arrived, and we each had a whole dressed crab, with piping hot new potatoes, and a wonderful fresh and crispy mixed salad with an impressive pot of yummy homemade coleslaw. Absolutely faultless. We enjoyed it so much we ordered crusty baguettes with more crab and salad for our supper for back at the hotel. One thing to say "Please can I have some more?"!

Was looking forward to a crab salad, unfortunately they'd sold out of crab. However, they were more than happy to go off menu and turn what was listed as a sandwich into a lovely, delicious salad. Would definitely recommend them for going above and beyond!

Came to this café as a watering hole on our 4hr round trip to buy seafood. On a blustery day it served us well.. Nice decor... service was great with 2 coffees and 1 cake and 1 sausage roll costing £13 . Very cosy with very comfortable seating throughout.

Superb service, amazing selection of food including great vegan, fish and meat options. They also do take out frozen fish and cottage pies which we used for a dinner party.
Large selection of cakes and desserts. Decent prices. Wonderful team that have also opened the West Deli around the corner.

I choose The Old Rock Shop Bistro to cater for my wedding in June after it came highly recommended from a local.
Sam was great throughout the planning with no amendments being an issue at all, nor any question being too stupid as a complete novice to arranging catering.
Dietary requirements were not an issue and everyone was catered for.
I cannot fault the service it on the day from Sam and the team, it was flawless despite serving a large number of guests in a short space of time.
The food was absolutely gorgeous and the guests all complimented it highly - especially the butternut squash and chickpea rolls. It was all divine.

Lovely little place. Warm and friendly, nice and clean. Quick service. Lavazza coffee served very decent. I have traditional sausage roll. See photo. Partner had sticky date slice. Both very tasty. Place to pop in for decent coffee and snacks if you are in Cromer.

I visited the Bistro twice during my stay in Cromer for my daughter's wedding.
Both times the food and service was fantastic.
As a dairy free vegetarian the selection for me was wonderful and staff very helpful and accommodating.
Absolutely worth a visit if you are in the area, it does not disappoint.

Highly recommended!
Came whilst on holiday. Very well organised, kept distances, clean and managed brilliantly during Covid 19. Incredibly friendly staff and good menu options with a few dietary alternatives, the chocolate mocha was one of the best my mums ever had.
They are dog friendly to sizes small to medium. They were wonderful at accommodating us to a quieter area to sit with our 3 dogs, one of which is very nervous. Thank you very much to all the staff.

Polite staff despite the brunch rush. Porridge with fruit was good and a very good size portion, fair price. Cakes etc all looked delicious and fresh.

Reserved a table for a family birthday. The cafe put up my balloons, banner and arrange a cake. The staff were all helpful and friendly with my meeting my wishes. Food was tasty and served quickly. Highly recommend!

Excellent, long-standing and justifiably popular cafe in central Cromer. Good food, and a superb Flat White coffee. Booking advisable - it can get very busy. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic crab salad. Everything freshly prepared, tasty and in generous amounts!
We also took away cross buns that smelled deliciously through a cardboard box :)
We will definitely be back if we are around.

It's nice to eat in a food establishment that has very friendly and polite staff.
We had the scrambled eggs and bacon with toast and a pot of tea for 2.
The price point was very fair given the
portion size, quality of the food. It was well cooked and very delicious.
Will definitely visit again when in this area.

Great little eatery that we'd heard about so went for brunch.
My wife had a Christmas Turkey style sandwich and I had a Hunters Chicken baguette with a hot sausage roll to share.
All food was amazing and great portion sizes so really filling. Following that when leaving we also had a couple of cakes, Terry's choc orange brownie and an almond tart... Again, both really nice.
Highly recommend! Great food, friendly service, nice setting and also dog friendly!

Really helpful friendly staff. A lot of The cafes in the area were closing at 4 even though a couple said 5, but we noticed this place was still open and serving until 6. Also, it was air conditioned and so was welcome relief from the heat of the day. Just had toasted sandwiches which were bob on. Great that the salad served with them had no dressing so you could choose if you wanted any. The Americano was flavourful and strong enough. Finished with cakes which although nothing to write home about were satisfying. Would recommend.
