I am in no way shape or form a religious person but I like to look at stained glass windows and historic sites.
It was peeing down and I popped in to escape the downpour. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. It was very pleasant place to visit.

Beautiful church with a nice cafe and friendly atmosphere. I'm not religious but felt very welcome and really enjoyed looking around. They gave us a leaflet at the door with a brief history of the building. The windows are spectacular!!

Amazing when you learn that most of the stained glass you see is post-1945 as the old windows were blown out in WW2. It looks serene and beautiful.

A very nice little church unfortunately couldn't go inside when passing as it was late on in the day but passing in the morning looked like a hub for the community and being well maintained by the local council outside.

Very stunning Church. I loved to be here!
Because of young Eagles in the Tower we couldn't visit it.
But it was even without that very breathtaking....

Volunteer welcomers very helpful & friendly. The building of this church started in 1377 yet it is, even now, a vibrant group of people who meet together & call this church a home today.
There is a short leaflet giving a (very) brief history, a small shop and an area of tables & chairs as a "coffee shop".
As well as some short information points, there's also a small side Chapel available for quiet time, prayer or meditation. Not to mention some amazing examples of the expert stone masonry carried out in the building of the church - especially the curved flint around the outside of the doorway.
This year (2019) there's also a nesting pair of falcons on the roof who are in the midst or rearing their 3 "chicks" & local ornathologists have telescopes set up outside for anyone who wants to watch them.
It's free entry & dogs are welcome!
Well worth a visit.

The church is in the centre of town and is an impressive medieval building with the tallest church tower in Norfolk - 160ft tall! There is a memorial inside to the famous Cromer lifeboatman Henry Blogg. In the side chapel is a window by Sir Edward Burne-Jones. In all, it's a spectacular church - grade I listed for its national historic importance. Open daily with toilets, refreshments and wheelchair access. Allow plenty of time as there's lots to see.

Impressive building, with the tallest tower of any Norfolk parish church. It is a good vantage point for views over the town and beyond. Before the current lighthouse was built, a light on this tower shone out to warn seafarers of the hazardous coastline at night.

Lovely church, drawn by the stunning poppy display then discovered cafe inside. Delicious coffee and cake - plus the best hot chocolate I've ever had. Staffed by friendly volunteers. This church has a lovely community feel.

The ministry by the Vicar, Will Warren, is Biblically based and he and his team of invited ministers are also evangelical. There is an excellent Sunday School during the time of the 10.30hrs service and an excellent fellowship and small group teaching with prayers. Such a warm and welcoming fellowship.

A massive church with surprisingly little inside but knowledgeable staff are on hand to answer questions and one can buy tea and coffee inside. You used to be able to climb the tower but that wasn't happening this time we visited, for some reason.
