The Byre at Birkby Grange

Our second time visiting recently.

Ideal for what my wife and I were looking for the location is exactly as described with sweeping views for miles. We weren't here for a walking holiday but you can see this being a perfect base if this is your choice.

The property is spacious and offers a comfortable living space. The log burner came in handy to help keep us away from the cold and rain outside. The open plan helped us keep an eye on the children whilst cooking and preparing tea. The double bed was comfier than anything you'll find in a chain hotel and gave me the best 4 night's sleep I've had this year.

The location is perfect its a short drive into Northallerton with Darlington, Saltburn, Whitby and others not too far away either. In the local area there are a number of farms offering fresh produce if you take to Google.

Check in was easy and the hosts are lovely.

I look forward to our next venture to The Byre at Birkby Grange.
