Moved to Gilmores vets, last year after our labrador had her litter of puppies
We have visited several times for routine issues snd always found all staff, helpful, friendly and professional
Had an emergency appointment yesterday for our puppy who had found and eaten cannabis from a local park!
The vets and nurses were extremely reassuring and professional working extremely hard to get the correct diagnosis and treatment , she is now recovering and almost her happy self again, Thank you

When we got our new Jack Russel pup (Fredy) in October we took him to Gilmore vets in Doxford Park to get his jabs, the vet checked Fredy out and gave him his jabs and clean bill of health “no fuss”. Now yesterday morning (10 months later) Fredy decided to play with a Bee on the patio, the Bee stung him on the paw resulting in him running round the house whimpering and limping I phoned Gilmores for advice, a very helpful nice lady answered the phone (did not catch her name) and after I told her what had happened she said she would have a word with the vet and phone me back. The phone rang 10 mins later and she said the vet advised to do this and that and what to keep an eye out for in the way of reactions, as it happened 3 hours later Fredy had made a complete recovery and resumed on his mission of de-stuffing his teddy’s.
Gilmores could of told me to take the dog in and charge me for a consultation but no they did not, they are truly professional from the helpful lady on reception to the vet for his/her advice were the animals welfare comes first.
Very grateful and will always be my go to vets.

I have been with Gilmoor for many years, and they have always been good. The reception staff greet the pets with friendliness, and my dog knows exactly where the treats are kept. The vets are so caring, not only toward the pets but to the humans too.

We have used Gilmoors for many years for our two dogs, more recently one of our dogs took ill and their condition deteriorated rapidly the attention and treatment given by staff was excellent transfer to veterinary hospital was prompt and smooth and thankfully the outcome positive. I would definitely recommend the practice to others.

What a lovely place this veterinary is I needed an appointment asap and was seen within 2 hours staff was lovey and polite and a very clean practice indeed

Always kind and caring towards my dogs, the service is excellent and the surgeries are always clean and tidy. All of the vets are very up to date with the latest developments and offer advice as well as alternative treatments, don't just say this is what you have to do.

Every member of staff has been kind and professional with us at every contact. I feel 100% confident they have our pets best interests at heart and offer us sensible options and info to make good choices.

Lovely practice, easy access, free parking outside, if no appointments available, always offered an alternative at the other practice, staff are always nice and helpful and easy to talk too

I called for Yearly check and jab for my Poodle Holly.
I was offered one 1 hour later same day.
Excellent reception and treatment from vet.
It was a Happy experience and I would recommend Gilmoor without hesitation.

We've used gilmoor vets for years they are a fabulous group. Proper empathy is given when your pet is nearing the end caring friendly and with sympathy making the end if a beloved pet easier. Then new puppy all advice given . Love them 🥰

Always polite and friendly, put at ease , treats for your pets on tap , they call for your pet by name when appointment is due , very satisfied with my service from this veterinarian practice

Any vets is only as good as the staff working there regardless of how big or small the company is. And as such I have moved from several vets following (some would say stalking!!!) Sue who is a phenomenal vet. her knowledge, bedside manner and understanding are excellent. I would not want my dogs to go to anyone else. Finding a vet you trust is a massive weight off the mind of a pet owner. And as someone who has extreme OCD (as well as other issues!!!) I do not trust people just because they have certificates or experience. What is more important to me is the person. I do not trust people easily but I trust Sue 100%.
Amy who works on the main desk is also a massive asset to Gilmores. Her ability to build rapport with people is awesome. What pet owners want in their time of stress, grief or sadness is an understanding, empathetic person who you KNOW cares.
The care and attention that have given to my Levi and my Dexter is so appreciated I can not put it in to words.
Looking after people’s pets is a responsibility that no one should take lightly. Thank you 🥰🥰🥰

I have just had my new kittens vaccines ect Sorted At Glimoors The service was second to none Vet went over and above to help me As kitten fiesty Dealt with her with patience and fun Both Vet and nurse ( Took 2 of them to hold her ha )l would now trust then with all her ongoing care going forward l know vets pity didn't find them sooner l rate them as 5 Star Regards

Excellent level of care for my dog. Staff are really friendly. My dog isn't phased at all about going.

Staff here are excellent very warm and welcoming but most of all they were great with my dog.

I have visited this vets practice for over 14 years and would not go anywhere else. Staff are so friendly, helpful and very professional. Having visited during covid pandemic they followed guidelines always.

The staff are very polite courtious and. friendly i know my shitzu is in great hands they always explain everything and have helped me with his problem i would definatly reccomend gilmoors to anyone
