Thomas & Prebha did an excellent job with repairing our bathroom basin. They arrived within only a couple of days from first contact, and had experience with exactly our type of bathroom which showed their expertise. They were very polite and communicated everything clearly from first contact to finishing the job. I can highly recommend them!

Was without hot water when my boiler capitulated.
Other plumbing engineers were too busy but these people came the same day.

Our heating broke a few weeks ago and Thomas & Prebha came round and assessed the problem really quickly, the first fix didn't work but they came straight back and checked some more stuff, found the problem and fixed it there and then. We contacted Thomas and Prebha at Tap Plumbing & Heating for advice on two shower units in our property which have been leaking due to poor installation by Roberts Plumbing & Heating.

They visited our property and gave a huge amount of advice on next steps, including recommending another tradesperson to re-do the tiling, which is causing the problem.

Thomas also took the time to advise us on maintaining the plumbing installations in our property, due to his experiences with poor installation in properties such as ours.

More than happy with both communication and service from TaP Plumbing and Heating. The supply to my cooker had been disconnected after a gas leak was detected, so I emailed the 10 nearest registered gas engineers to me in DT1 overnight to ask who might be available to complete repairs - 2 responded saying they had no availability, 3 offered their services and I had no response from the rest. Fortunately Thomas from TaP was first to respond and repair was completed the same day. His partner is also a qualified electrician so I will be using them again soon!

TaP did a great job for us, coming out quickly and shortly after New Year’s Day, identified the issues with our boiler and immersion, and returned with the parts to fix what was needed. first time I've contacted TaP I had a leak on my kitchen and Thomas repaired it on the day, on a Sunday!! second time around Thomas and his wife repaired the boiler and kitchen tap, finally hot shower!! Always extremely helpful and professional. Excellent customer service not everyone would answer a call on a Sunday. TaP will be my go to for my annual boiler service or any other plumping issue I might have. Cannot thank them enough!

Finding a reliable trained engineer has always been a challenge; in 2023 after our boiler failed it seemed easier to charter a flight to the moon!

We have used TaP on a couple of occasions- once for a tap replacement and once for a difficult boiler repair. We were very impressed with their skill and professionalism. They always turned up when they said they would and were friendly and personable. Also very reasonably priced. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Replaced our downstairs toilet, very happy with it and the service. They are obviously very busy so we waited a little while (it's a good recommendation when a business is busy!) but I get the impression they would make time for you if it's urgent - which ours wasn't.

I really can't recommend TaP Plumbing highly enough as they were brilliant & able to rectify a problem I had with reinstalling my Radiators after a Damp proof course had badly gone wrong after being installed by another Company. Both Thomas & Prebha were able to overcome the problem competently & professionally & I am very grateful to them both that I am able to have heat again!

A huge thanks to Thomas from TaP Plumbing. We needed an emergency plumber to fix a leak on the rising main in the kitchen. Thomas came around on a Saturday without hesitation to diagnose the problem and returned later that day when the water company arrived as the two jobs needed coordinating. It was the hottest day of the year and Thomas did an amazing job. Thanks for taking the stress out of the situation and providing such a professional service.
