Langdale Chase Hotel

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Beautiful building, amazing room, and the views speak for themselves. Staff were super friendly, attentive and worked around our dietary needs. We couldn't have asked for more and will be coming back!

Contemporary meets country house in this grade 2 listed building. Rooms are spacious and some have balcony’s overlooking lake and terrace. Food is delicious and service first clsss.

Amazing hotel with epic views over lake Windermere. The weather was appauling when we stayed so made full use of the hotel and the room. We found the staff to be friendly, polite and professional. We only eat breakfast in the hotel, we went elsewhere for our evening meal. We found the food quality excellent, with plenty of options. We will be returning.

Incredible hotel with stunning views and excellent rooms. I had a great time at Langdale Chase and thought it was great value for the money. The hotel really felt like a historical manor with lots of little details in the rooms and woodworking but with all the bells and whistles of a modern hotel.

Beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds with a picturesque view across the lake we sat outside on the terrace having a couple of drinks looking across at the lake it is very peaceful and relaxing staff are really nice and plenty of free parking on site

Has been revamped much lighter interior new tables an chairs. Anyone whose been before will notice the change. Seems to be more staff. Very helpful very attentive.As usual great views over Lake Windermere and a decent garden for a walk.
I had burger and fat chips both cooked well. Burger was tasty and moist. No oven chips hurray.
Apple Crumble slightly although tasty was disappointing. The apple was more of a sauce texture apart from that hic up. Definitely re visiting

5-Star sensational Christmas Stay.

This is a true gem on the banks of Windermere.

Even before our arrival, remarkable attention to detail was shown in managing our reservation and ensuring it was a special stay.

The culinary experience during our entire stay surpassed all expectations. Whether it was the miniature cakes that mysteriously appeared in our rooms, the delightful festive afternoon, the exquisite Christmas Day tasting menu, not forgetting kippers for breakfast - and of course the goat cheese bon bons, every bite, from the moment we entered through your doors to the regrettable departure, was truly delectable.

We found ourselves frequenting the bar regularly throughout our stay. The informal yet upscale atmosphere, coupled with sensational views, roaring fire, created a wonderful experience.

All of the staff were absolutely lovely throughout our stay.

Only called in for a look however we ended up having a drink and some food.
Excellent service with fantastic food.
The hotel certainly benefits from all the recent work carried out.
Looking forward to staying here.

We recently stayed here after the hotel just reopened & we had a magnificent stay. the staff here were exceptional with a fantastic attention to detail. The food was of a high quality and immaculately presented.

On the pricey side, but you pay for what you get, and that is sunning views!

The Location decor and service were all excellent. We had been regularly before the refurbishment and after waiting 18 months for it to be completed it was well worth the wait.

Our favourite hotel of all time. Been coming here for over 20 years now. Beautiful setting, great food and good times. Needs a refurbishment now but I believe that is due soon. Stunning

Absolute gem of a place! Very beautiful! Easily access able but at the same time - secluded and very quiet. Wide spacious gardens with beautiful views of the lake. Calm and quiet and very clean and comfortable. Lovely sun chairs on the lawn and the pier. Brilliant lunch and afternoon tea menus. A real find!!
