The Lillies Café

I have been coming to Lillies for over 2 years summer/winter with friends and eating in a pod. The food variety and quality is excellent. It is great value for money. Also all the staff are so friendly we are on first name terms, nothing is too much trouble for them, that is why we come here every week and some weeks twice. I would recommend Lillies to anybody who wants good food friendly staff and in these days value for money. Richard Smith

The food is good, I tend to stick to a breakfast. But other meals are available. Fresh bloomer bread is served with butter (or something very close). My grandson had a cheese burger, the burger was fat and juicy. My granddaughter had chilli con carni which she tucked into. We ate inside but they do have outside booths that were tempting in this weather. We'll definitely go back again

Been here a few times and always have a lovely time! Once I came for my birthday and they had decorated the pod which was lovely! They staff are friendly and the food is delicious- highly recommend

Loved the pods outside. Great all weather dining space that is comfortable & good for social distancing. Service was great, food was delicious & generous portions at a reasonable price. Will definitely come here again.

Just had a lovely lunch, one of our favourite cafes! Staff are lovely and helpful especially Simone who my daughter (aged 4) loved and even commended herself about how kind and helpful the lady was!

Good home cooked food. Ordering on the app saves you 20% which makes it an incredible bargain for such nice food. Highly recommend the jackets, full English, in fact everything i have had has been lovely. The outside pods are dog friendly and they have heating so super cosy. I love going to this place

Thought we'd pop in and have some lunch today and wow things have changed since last time we had visited. They have the new pods and an amazing menu.
I had the Ham and Cheese ppl pitchman and for eight quid you get a lot.
Afters was carrot cake, as the cheese cake was sold out.. boo, and that too was nice.

Staff friendly and the food came out quickly. Will deffo be back again.

The only thing that wasn't 100% was that the cube you pressed for service didn't seem to work. Colours changed but not much else happened..

What more can you ask from a café. Popped in with my wife and had a private pod. It was a frosty day but lovely and warm in the pod. It felt like private dining too being just us and no other noise around. Brilliant food and service. Definitely one to go back to.

First time going today, and myself, family members really enjoyed it! We had English breakfast and pancakes which was really good! The ladies serving were so friendly, polite and welcoming! The food was delicious, great portion sizes and great prices!….we will be coming back! You can walk in or you can book a pod if you would like too. 100% recommend and will be returning

Can't get better anywhere.

Very good food, decent cooked breakfast.
Nothing fancy, but excellent to have the outdoor area with pods etc.
Service is also very good, modern ordering system, above standard for your average cafe.

Next level omlette!

It's surprisingly hard to find consistently good food, but Lillies nails it, especially the omlettes.

Such a simple thing can be done so badly, but Lillies omlette are the right thickness, with gooey strong cheese and heaps of delicious roasted ham - not cut into tiny cubes, its beautiful flecks and hunks of ham. Lovely crispy edges too and a bit of a caramelisation, it's the perfect example of excellent simple ingredients, cooked well, make memorable, quality dishes.

Honestly it's French bistro level of omlette.

A must have!

Love Lillies Cafe. The outside pods are the place to be & dog friendly, they even have doggie meals on the menu. Human food is great too. Our new favourite place to grab a fry up.

Booked Lillies for a friends Birthday Lunch and so we booked a pod!
The pods are heated so although it was cold outside we were warm and cosy.
Ordered the Turkey Roast Dinner and it was really lovely, so much food on the plate and such value for money.
Staff were so friendly, they noticed the presents and card for our friend and all were wishing her Happy Birthday, they were so welcoming and couldn't recommend this lovely little find more.
Be warned! the menu is vast and it's so hard to decide what to choose as everything is amazing.
Well done to all the staff at Lillies, I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you :-)
