Very nice beach. Car park near the coast it cost a few pounds. Also small place for drinks.
You can walk down the beach where at the right time is the year you can see, sea life as seals.
The village is really cute with authentic houses .

Been staying at Hermanus several times a year over the last seven years and can honestly say we have had some great times with friends and family and have always enjoyed the great walks along the coast. especially at the breading times for the grey seals and common seals at Horsey gap. But recently prices have gone up. It’s a sign of the times but this price raise has made them more expensive then renting a cottage which has more space and added privacy.
I know Hermanus have more facilities like pub restaurant and swimming pool.
But some people go for the break and peace and quite and do not use the facilities.
Sorry to say it will be a cottage from now on.

Great value Sunday Lunch. Good all-rounder for a family meal next to the coast in Winterton on Sea. Staff also helpful and friendly.

First time and most certainly not the last. Went for Sunday lunch, chose roast pork, with roast potatoes a boiled potatoe stuffing 2 small sausages and exceptional Yorkshire pudding.Separate veg so help yourself to what ever you prefer from carrot, green beans, broccoli, and mashed swede. Be aware the swede has something for extra taste maybe mustard. Then a banoffee roulade with ice-cream. Staff very polite and professional. £12.95 for lunch £7.95 for dessert 😋😋. Returned 20 July, sampled beef lasagne and chocolate fudge cake and custard 😋😋. Returned 3/9/2023. Sunday lunch followed by apple, pear and raspberry crumble 😋😋. Service VG.❤❤🌈🌈

Such stunning views from the restaurant looking towards the sea, or their beautiful round huts. Food is fresh, fast and always hot. We love the sunday carvery and it doesn't break the bank to feed between 5 (and 9 if the older children come home to visit) its clean, tidy and very welcoming. The owners are a wealth of knowledge and get stuck in to help out

Excellent place to visit, all well organised for covid safety to not spoil the experience. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, food on site is superb, especially the cheese on toast with a pot of tea. Highly recommend the walk around the different gardens and woodland areas, plenty of wildlife to see throughout the grounds. Many thanks for keeping everything open for people to enjoy

Lovely place to visit, great food worked well with coronavirus, staff wore masks and were very polite and helpful , we sat outside to eat, the tables were nicely spaced out, we never stayed on the site, but we did enquire, very nice sea views, and quite close to the sea, you do need to walk down hill, so not ideal for wheel chairs. swimming pool on site and club house and pub, we ate in the pub. The round chalets looked good from the outside, you can view the inside online. Also not very far from Hemsby Beach.

This is a must for people who like great food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere served to you by polite and friendly staff. There is a family room, the lounge which has a great view out over the sea, and the restaurant, and cater for children as well as adults. A big thank you to Jamie, Colin and all your team for looking after myself and my family.

Really really really nice food. If they were closer to me I would spend all my time in there. Their cheesecake is to die for and highly addictive. Sure the place feels a bit dated, but it doesn't detract from the lovely food and they do their best with what they have.

Sunday Carvery...very reasonably priced with huge quantities of well cooked roast. Today we were offered pork, beef, gammon and turkey. All the usual veg including carrots, brussels, peas, cauliflower cheese , crackling, gravy etc, snd Licenced bar.
Plenty of parking, excellent views of the sea, next to the lighthouse and quaint thatched rondevals that guests can stay in.
Relaxed casual atmosphere, a lot to like here.
