Flour Flow

I've been here several times now and each time the pizzas, sandwiches and coffees have been absolutely delicious. I also highly recommend the pistachio latte! The decor inside is really cute too and the owner is always friendly 😊

We enjoyed some amazing vegan pizzas this evening. Beautifully light sourdough bases and really tasty toppings, all cooked perfectly. We had the vegan margarita (with extra caramelised onions), vegan Parmigiana and vegan Mush-Mellow. And the vegan cheese was not oily at all. Best we've had in ages.
A1 service - rang our order in and half an hour later four amazing pizzas ready to collect.
And loyalty card stamped (buy 6 and 7th is free)!
We'll be back.

Came into flour flow wanting to have a sandwich, but it was early evening, so understandably, they were sold out! However, the owners were really nice and were able to create me a sandwich using the ingredients for one of their pizzas. The sandwich itself was made out of pizza dough !

The sandwich itself was delicious, and we will 100% be going back for more !

Our new café in Hampden Park village, left of Age Concern charity shop. The interior is beautiful and has clearly been thought out, it's a comfortable environment inside. Staff are welcoming, helpful, and check that everything is OK with our meals / drinks.

I ordered mac & cheese and parsley, plus chunky fries with cheddar cheese sauce (requested without the jalapeños because my taste buds are weak.) These orders were sides however the portions were greater than expected, but please don't mistake that for a complaint! I was able to take the rest of my fries to go, packaged nicely in a branded takeaway bag. You can either sit in, or take out.

From what I could see, the mac and cheese was made fresh from scratch.

The hot chocolate was nice, made without sugar but there's the option to add your own. Their hot drinks menu is very unique.

We chatted to the staff during our visit here, it seems very much so that they care and have truly put their best efforts into creating Flour Flow.

Although it was long, the wait was worth it leading up to the opening day, the residents of Hampden Park are so pleased to have such an authentic independent café on our high street.

EDIT 18/11/23: had the 'let's meat' pizza as takeaway and honestly beats any pizza I've ever had! You can actually watch them as they make and cook it for you.

My wife and I headed into Flour Flow today to check their food and what an awesome cafe.

Alessio, the owner is such a lovely fellow and is clearly passionate about the food he makes.

I had the Burger Wagon and was blown away by how delicious and well priced it is.

You cannot go wrong here.

We'll be in for their home made pizza next.

First time in, had lovely tasting fresh sandwiches and great coffee and tea. Bought a lovely looking sourdough loaf, which we have yet to try but am sure will be equally nice.

I think this is the start of an amazing bakery/bistro.
Honestly the best pizza in Sussex at the moment with everything freshly made in front of my eyes. And probably the best pizza sauce I've had.
Lovely owner with a true passion for what he's doing.

Cafe side is very small and would be easy to feel busy but with the quality of food this place should be sold out every day.

Must try for foodies looking to see what's happening in Eastbourne.

Family kept saying how good the food is, so we all had takeaway pizzas and desserts. The food is absolutely delicious, the margherita and the pistachiomisu was so yummy I couldn't stop eating it. If you like authentic Italian pizzas etc, I would highly recommend Flour Flown.🍕🍧 looking forward to popping into the shop for bread and cakes 😁

Ordered on justeat the first time and food was absolutely delicious so I went to the premise out of curiosity and had some more delicious food and met the lovely owners. I will go back and also order more online as I really enjoyed everything I ate so far. Service was fantastic matching the food! Prices are actually low/average compared to others, however the food is much nicer and you can taste the good quality of ingredients. 5* well done!

I visited here randomly as bever been in. Only had a latte as I'd already eaten, but the menu looks amazing with some unique sandwiches and pizzas with choice of neopolitan or thin crust. The latter was very nice, I definitely want to try the food and will update when done so.
Nicely decorated and calming inside with a few plants (not sure if real, bur looks nice) hanging up.
The guy I spoke to was helpful and knowledgeable.

A lovely little establishment, wide selection of drinks and food including Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. My son loved his pizza.

First visit to Flour Flow and the team were really friendly and the service was prompt. You can tell by talking to them they really care and passionate about their business.

The menu is has a lovely selection of pizzas as well as sandwiches and a selection of sides. It’s so nice to see somewhere that isn’t churning out basic pizzas and sandwiches and adding their own stamp on dishes.

We had the fish finger sandwich and the popeye pizza, our son had the volcano (without chilli flakes). Everyone really enjoyed the food. Lovely fresh ingredients used and the pizza dough was fantastic, my son would have happily just eaten the crust as it was “so yummy”!

The restaurant was relaxed and clean. We grabbed a sourdough loaf and flat white to go, coffee was well made and tasted great, looking forward to trying the bread.

It’s just the sort of eatery that Hampden Park needs! Can’t wait to pop back and collect more stamps for a free coffee and pizza.

I really hope the people of Hampden Park and Eastbourne support this local independent bakery and restaurant.

All I can say is great food, service and feeling. I'd love to be able to say something special about this restaurant, but my words just fail me - it's a great place with great food. Go and find out.

Honestly, this is the best pizza I've ever had. This place deserves all the credit it's getting. I hope it stays in Hampden park for a long time.

Best take away pizza in Eastbourne, with light and crispy sour dough based, the meatballs were also delicious. Simply fantastic.
