The Lounge

I had lunch with my family in The Lounge, and I was really pleased with the food. Service was quick because we didn't have to wait for too long for our food and drinks. I will definitely repeat this experience because I want to try their cakes as well. 😊

Friend took us here for lunch and it was great. The wild mushroom soup was outstanding and and toastie was delicious. Great coffee and staff were very helpful with recommendations.

Called in this lunchtime as couldn't find anywhere my and my friend fancied to have a cuppa and a butty. Ended up stopping here had a burger and rosemary salted fries with two giant onion rings (unexpected surprise) my mate had a jacket spud with beans salad etc. Fabulous food and great service. Spotlessly clean, quick efficient service. A nice little find on a Sunday mystery tour out.

Amazing food, really good value and good service!! I had the Scallops to start, fish Bouillabaisse for main (which had a very clever lemon grass twist and samphire 😋😋) and chocolate fondant for dessert. All faultless... We'll definitely be going back as I want to try some of the dishes my family had, even the two year old on our table ate everything 🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌

Called in for coffee and cake.
very good selection. Coffee and peppermint tea was presented very well along with the cake.
Options to sit out in the glorious sun adds value to your visit.

Always lovely food here. I had the goats cheese salad with roasted veg. It was delicious.

Brilliant service as usual. Great food. It was fathers day and my husband had the Big Daddy Mixed Grill and to our surprise eat every bit.
Our favourite place for family celebrations.

My wife & I went on Saturday 22/6/24 aprox 1 pm. We both fancied the special pasta dish. The meal came in a large bowl accompanied by wholesome rustic bread. The pasta had olives, chorizo & a host of other ingredients topped with ground parmigiana cheese. It is one of the best pasta dishes we have tasted. Exceptionally filling & DELICIOUS. We also had 2 lattes.

We visited here for the first time today.
The staff are all super friendly and attentive, we had toasted current teacakes with a mocha, and a glass of iced water. Everything was very tasty and well presented.
It has a really nice atmosphere inside, busy but not overwhelming.
We'd definitely recommend coming here and we will be coming back!

Great supper on Saturday night, with good menu with sufficient choice but not too much, so you know it is clearly prepared freshly. I had the Scallops snd Salmon and both were excellent quality and value for money. We shared the ‘chocolate board’ as a pudding, which was a great initiative as you don’t always want a huge pudding but a little something sweet to end the meal. Well done team, great food and great service.

I ate here last night with a friend and it was fantastic! The venue, the staff and food were all perfection. Agatha and Catherine looked after us very well. I was imressed by the service and the welcoming feel of the place. The food was spectacular! I had scallops with black pudding to start followed by lamb with a mash cake, vegetables and wedges with the most deliciously stunning jus. It was a busy night but we still had a very personalised service. I can't wait to eat here again! 😋

Lovely staff, the food is really good, especially their breads they use! Nice that you can have coffee or wine if you fancy too

Amazing full English and Advacado on toast, slightly expensive but you get what you pay for and this food will not disappoint. We sat outside and were lucky enough to get a table.

Staff are so friendly and really helpful here. Only visited twice (dined out doors once and takeaway second time) really helpful 👍🏻
