Claud's Coffee Shop & Dessert Parlour

Really impressed after stopping by on a whim, had a lovely breakfast burrito, and some cake to go. Coffee is a local roaster and much nicer than I've had at other places who use the same beans. Loads of cakes, most of which you could easily share! The lads near us had some great looking waffles

Always a win, whether it is a quick nip in for a takeaway milkshake or a sit down meal... We particularly enjoy the breakfasts! 🤤

Fantastic, great quality food……. Mainly sweet, but some savoury. Eat in, take away, or like I do, order a delivery . Would highly recommend the full English breakfast for anyone with a big appetite, or maybe the breakfast stack for a more average appetite. . . Your tastebuds won’t be disappointed!

the stars speak for themselves absolutely stunning restaurant with amazing cheap food,first time going and me and my boyfriend ordered bqq chicken sub was stunning came with crisps the staff were amazing with listening to the allergies before we left we spotted the cakes witch you must try unreal at an unbelievable price my favourite about this restaurant has to be there ice coffee

First time visiting Claud's and I'd say I'd definitley return. Service was amazing 👏 food was amazing 👏 lovely friendly helpful staff. Premises was very clean 👌 👏 (which is a must). Will make a return visit 😀

Unreal 😍 love having this cafe on my doorstep. Not so good for the diet though 🤣 the breakfast stack was insane !!! Staff very friendly and the cafe is clean! Defo recommended:)

My daughter and I really enjoyed our time at Claud's. On first appearance, it looked a little sterile with its bright overhead lights and very white walls, but the chairs were comfy and the staff were welcoming.
They did a lovely job on the presentation of my daughter's waffle. She couldn't finish it, but I didn't mind helping! It was warm after being freshly made and treated great.
The "brioche bomb" that I had was less exciting and could have maybe had a bit more sauce inside, but it was a pleasant, less filling option, and a really interesting idea.

Update:
After bringing the family here for brunch (4 light breakfasts and 4 waffles / crêpes + drinks), it also seems necessary to warn people that Claud's *is* on the expensive side and a round of 4 waffles will set you back by about £30 which feels like it's edging towards overpriced. We really enjoyed our meals, but it'll need to be a special occasion for the next family outing here.

Love this place. First time in today because I have heard so much about it from other people. Had a coffee and a bit of cake and thoroughly enjoyed them. The service was great and staff brilliant.

Great place to stop as I was walking in the area. Not easy to see from the road and a shame it doesn't have a great view. Spotlessly clean including the toilet. Friendly staff, good choice of brownies and cakes. Next time must try a scone.

Claude’s is fantastic! We used them as a supplier for our wedding for a few tray bakes among other things. They were fantastic and an absolute highlight of our day. Since then we have ordered multiple times and consistently love what we order. Everything is incredibly more-ish.. as my waistline knows.

I would encourage anyone to come and order/visit given the opportunity.

The owners are lovely, they constantly remember us and willing to spend time out of their busy day to speak to us when they deliver anything.

I found this little gem a few months ago and now it's a regular stop off point. Great coffee, even better cakes and brilliant staff. Not only cakes and treats but also savoury snacks. The seating area is immaculately clean, the background music is subtle and doesn't interfere with your conversation. All in all my friends and I love it.

Called in for breakfast and wasn't disappointed I opted for scrambled eggs which was up there with best I've ever had we left with a selection of cheese cakes which family loved

I often go to Clauds for a coffee and a cake before my walk down the Tyne - pretty much there once a week. I love it. The staff are so friendly and thorough. The cakes always taste so delicious and there is a great selection. I took my mum for afternoon tea and the food was incredible. It was so tasty and there was a lot of choice. She was over the moon with her tea. Will continue to go back!

Hi we ordered a box through recommendation on Instagram.We were not disappointed. We ordered the Carmel lovers box.
Just a shame we don't live closer.

Heard a lot about this place. Popped down while car was getting an MOT. Wasn't disappointed, difficult decision to decide what to buy, but opted for a slice of lemon cheesecake and a chunk of rocky road. Both absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back again.

We got deserts delivered and we were worried certain foods would be cold and others would melt however we were pleased to find everything arrived perfectly! The delivery driver was lovely and friendly. Will definitely get another treat from Claud’s in the future!
