Huge, huge portions, sadly had to leave about half the fries and husband helped with the ribs.
Utterly delicious though!
Can't comment on the atmosphere as we ate very early and only two other family groups arrived as we were finishing . The staff were brilliant, friendly and very helpful.
We will definitely go again and I've recommended to friends

We went for my partners birthday meal, and even though it was a quiet Tuesday night we really enjoyed our food. Came in quick time and tastes fantastic. We then finished off with a sundae which was good too! The kids portion was served in a small basket and was plenty to eat even for an adult who doesn’t eat much!

Myself,my partner and a close friend went for a nice lunch here and were not disappointed. The atmosphere is very Route 66 American style aesthetics and the waiting staff are well mannered and so helpful.

The food was incredible and the portions were godly sized! I had a half rack of ribs for a starter that took up the entire plate! It was delicious and well worth it.

My partner has no complaints and neither did our guest. He agreed it was one of the best barbeque places he's been to.

9/10 would highly recommend!

This place is simply superb. Food was amazingly good, service was top notch and we couldn't have asked for better.

My wife and I chose to go here at the last minute, and from the phone call asking about tables, we were treated so well by them.

When we arrived, the hostess continued to give us fantastic service. She was bright, bubbly, cheery and attentive. Nothing was too much of a hassle and she was more than happy to have a laugh with us.

Our food was ordered and came out in great time and holy heck. The portions were HUGE for the price we paid. My wife had a sirloin and I had a rodeo burger and garlic mushrooms. What I was NOT prepared for was the sheer fullness of the plate. Everything was cooked to perfection, there was so much we just couldn't eat it all!

Props to the chefs and the front of house staff, especially the hostess on the 2nd August. Great service, superb food, we're so happy we came here on a whim. We'll be back!

This restaurant is a little goldmine. We book for a birthday meal and the food was absolutely fantastic, very tasty and fresh. Definitely delicious and certainly will be returning.

Great grill, loads of burgers, Mexican, salads, steak, good selection of starters and sides... a few desserts. The Mexican selection all had choice of filling including veggie. We all had starters and mains. Good service, one meal came, not as requested. It was promptly replaced , the bar has a good atmosphere, the prices are very reasonable.
There is parking along the front and also down the side.
Worth checking the online menu before you go so you can get an idea of what they have on.

Starters. Garlic mushrooms. Cheese garlic bread, loaded potato skins. Prawn cocktail
Mains...Ribeye steak, Pepper burger, skinny Minnie chilli burger. Chicken chimichinger, Chicken burger, Rump steak.

A lovely birthday meal. Food portions are generous.
Our waitress was great.
Quiet for a Saturday night but that suited us.

Had a family group of 10. Food was well cooked well presented & large servings even the kids meals would easily feed a 13+ year old Staff were friendly and chatty. Prices were good. If you want american diner and live in the Norwich area its worth the drive & very easy to find . Best American diner in Norfolk/suffolk.

Best burger I have had in quite a while, friendly helpful staff with enough entertainment for the kids. Portions big enough to feel good value for money. Much improved in 2022 from previous visits.

Came here with a friend, Was very quiet when we came and the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was nice but not anything exceptional, was a pleasant meal but i don't think i will be returning. my friend didn't enjoy the rice he has with his mexican dish, said was starchy, watery and lacked flavour. (typically didn't mention it at the restaurant) my meal was fine, large portion and loved the BBQ sauce, with tender patty that could break away at the touch (how i enjoy it).

Great little American style restaurant, Food was great and prtion sizes large, Staff friendly and made sure everything was OK 👍

Visited here for the first time just before Christmas. The food was perfect and the portion sizes were amazing! Lovely staff and very fair prices. Will be back next time I’m in Suffolk.

1st time and won't be the last the food was fantastic so fresh and hot service 10/10 try the steak rib combo you won't be disappointed

Really enjoyed smokey Joe's last night. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. Probably the best burger I've had in over ten years. Well priced and a good menu selection. All in all 10 out of 10. We live locally so we will definitely be visiting more often.

Move over Gonzo's!! I've found the my new burger joint! This place is unbelievable, I can't believe I didn't know this little gem has been there for 2 years...So firstly, we called an hour before we wanted to eat the guy who answered the phone was very accommodating managed to squeeze us in but did warn us of a large group of 16 guest who were in 30 mins before we were due. I think this is superb customer service so our expectations were set before we arrived that there may be a little wait. We arrived and were seated at our table by a very attentive friendly waitress. We ordered and there was no real wait, I'd say this was a totally acceptable wait time, of around 10 mins for starters and another 10-15 for mains. What arrived was the best burger I've had in the whole of Norfolk and I have tried many, many places. The meat quality was very good, it was seasoned perfectly and was juicy and succulent, top marks to the chef! All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We will certainly be back, it takes us 40 mins to get there but really is worth it!

Absolutely the best. Love this place. We visit the area a couple of times a year and always have a meal here. Over 6 years now.
Fantastic food, beautifully prepared and plenty of it (make sure you're hungry!). Fab people too, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Fully recommend.

Absolutely epic! Really generous portions of very tasty food. Excellent value for money and the service was great too. Only wish I had room for desert or a shake!
