We came for a funeral and parked outside this shop. Felt guilty and went in to purchase a bit but ended up buying quite a bit. What a great shop. Something that everyone would bd proud to have in their village

Have been coming here for years. Came in today and needed 4 T-Bone steaks and a small Sirloin. The bearded guy behind the counter cut us 4 fresh steaks as the one on the counter was too thin. Fantastic service. Meat was cooked on a griddle and they were all Fantastic fresh cuts of meat. Will always have my custom, steaks were loved by all.

An excellent "step-back-in-time" sort of place.
All the meat looked delicious.
Beautifully and temptingly presented. We purchased an assortment, beef burgers, pork ribs, sausages and a rib roast.
Butcher was rolling up and tying pork joints. Marvelous to watch someone so skilled working.

Went to see the butcher , bought some lovely pork chops ,sirloin steak and stuffed chicken breast , all tasted beautiful . They also have a great range of cakes which we tried a couple and were delicious , cheese is also available but we didn't try that ,at this visit, but will be going back ,well worth a visit .

Paul and all his team at Marchants are superb at what they do producing fantastic quality meats/cuts throughout the year and the delivery service throughout the pandemic was such a great support. All the added extras for Christmas including the Christmas prezzies have been greatly appreciated too. The shop in Bethersden is a credit to everyone for its produce and service. Highly recommended!

Since moving to the area we have tried and failed to find a quality butcher... Until we discovered Marchants. Wow! Okay we only had our first order delivered yesterday but after cooking up the lamb cutlets... Simply blown away and felt compelled to write this review straight away. If you like your meat to melt in your mouth, taste like quality restaurant food, look no further. Next order will be fish.

Best butcher and deli in Kent by far.
I’ve been going every week for the last 5 years and just gets better please try the aged roast rump joint it’s delicious.
I’ve always been very impressed with service and that they cut your order in front of you.they have always had 5 star rating for cleanliness since they opened and that is important to me.

Superbly friendly service and even better butchery!
This Easter we had an aged rump for our main lunch of the holiday, undoubtedly the best roast we have ever had. Thank you, Paul and Len.

Absolutely brilliant butchers. Wonderful selection of meat, and many more items. Staff very helpful from service to telling you about the cuts of meat and how up cook.

The Sausages from Marchant's are amazing! If you are looking for great BBQ food then look no further. Every time we have friends over we buy all our meat from here !
