Joanna's Boutique Tearooms

This café is absolutely splendid! We went there for brunch today. The service is amazing and our food and drinks came very quickly. Everything was delicious. Thank you very much - we will be back shortly to try the afternoon tea!

What a lovely place to go and have a special afternoon tea with family or friends. Authentic tea room with the china tea sets. Staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. Food delicious and the bottle of bubbly just topped off the occasion. Price is comparetive to other afternoon tea offers in Sussex. Parking is close by in the public parking area and an easy walk to the tea room.

I visited Joanna's today for breakfast with two friends and my toddler. Fabulous food and great service. I really recommend the Eggs Royale. Lots of highchairs avaliable and a great baby changing station in the ladies toilet. The children's menu had a dot-to-dot activity and colouring on the back to keep the little ones occupied. I will definitely be back!

Amazing decor and lovely staff- loved the pink/ white colour scheme.
Food was great - we 3 friends all had ceaser salad with avocado followed by a salted caramel and ice-cream desert - full of calories and delicious. Thank you.

Really lovely place. Went there recently with my bestie for a long overdue catch-up. The decor is plush and the service is really attentive, making it feel really special. Kudos also to the gluten free afternoon tea. Very tasty! Even have gluten free pastries which I've never had anywhere. Will be back!

My Mum brought me here for my birthday lunch. I have tried to get in here before but it was fully booked and now I know why. Food was delicious. Buttermilk pancakes were light and fluffy. Poached eggs were perfectly cooked. Will be back for the cream tea next time x

We had a fabulous lunch here - Avocado, Halloumi and poached egg on toast - it was delicious and great value. Served by such a lovely lady who was on a trial day too. Love this pretty place and will definitely be coming back.

Another lovely visit. Delicious food, lovely atmosphere. It poured with rain as we arrived but were greeted and sat down quickly. Our tea was piping hot and the food was tasty. The scones were warm, sandwiches and cakes fresh. All serveds had protective equipment on and made us feel at ease and welcome. We will be back again!

Beautiful little tearoom, small and tucked away, once inside it had a lovely decor and atmosphere. The afternoon tea was delicious and very pretty, more filling than it looks too. It was a great gift for my mum's birthday. I would recommend!

Lovely little cafe/restaurant tucked away in a quiet location. We had the full English breakfast and coffee. Lovely fresh food with outstanding service.

The tearoom is gorgeous with chandeliers and pretty decor nothing has been left out.
Our table was in a corner but we had plenty of room.
My Granddaughter had her own afternoon tea and she was ecstatic about her serving. Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate !
Two of our party don't have butter in sandwiches and this was noted and left out.
If you don't like something on the afternoon menu there doesn't appear to be a problem in requesting alternatives.
Great place for a girly get together and chat.

Another wonderful lunch at Joanna’s tea room today. Such a beautiful ambiance. I love the decor and attention to detail here. The food is always delicious whether just a snack or indulgent afternoon tea, which I have to say is the best around. ( I’ve tried many!) but Joanna’s is perfection on a plate. Friendly efficient staff who go out of their way to welcome you and give great service.
Today I had the sour dough topped with avocado, halloumi, poached eggs with the sweetest cherry tomatoes. It was piping hot and so tasty, as was my partner’s club sandwich.
It was really busy, with afternoon teas and baby showers. But still excellent service and didn’t have to wait long for food.

Had a takeaway afternoon tea, wow it was amazing, so much from sandwiches, savouries, traditional fruit & plain scones with cream & Jam, beautiful cakes and an individual cheese cake pot. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented. What a lovely way to spend a lockdown afternoon with a glass of bubbles and a incredible afternoon tea.

Had a cream tea for two at Joanne's. The tea room is beautifully decorated, the service is excellent and the food is fabulous, fresh filled sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones, jam & cream and assorted cakes - so so much and all delicious 😋

A beautiful tea room, elegantly decorated, with a divine menu. I had lunch this time, but looking at other people's afternoon tea's I will be going back again. Service was polite and efficient. I would recommend booking, so not to be disappointed

Such a delightful find on a Sunday afternoon. Tucked away just off the high street hustle and bustle.
Service with a smile, gigantic cappuccino and lovely warm scones for one on the menu.
