The Fudge Shop

Amazing and fully stocked little fudge and sweet shop. Full of delicious morsels and a lolly tree. The owner was so friendly and helpful. We bought some mint fudge that tasted like mint choc chip ice cream. It was soft and delicious and was gone in a very short amount of time. Also bought some jam and tablet fudge. When we return to Hay soon, I’m sure we will be venturing back into this cave of delectable treats. Not the cheapest of places for sweets but the quality is worth paying that little bit extra.

Very friendly staff and the fudge was insanely tasty. I bought the mint chocolate flavour and I might have to make the 500 mile round journey again, just to get some more!

Fantastic little shop with home made fudge and loads of other treats. The shopkeeper is a star and super good advice. Pop in their with the kids for a magical experience.

Some of the best fudge I've had - not too sickly and great flavours. Best we picked was the chocolate honeycomb! Happy to buy in bars, all the more to take home and felt it was reasonably priced too for good quality fudge. Shop attendant was very friendly which made the experience all the more pleasant.

Such a sweet sweetie shop! So much variety of candy (hard, gummy, chocolate, truffles, fudge). An excellent place if you're like me and love all sweets. The person who was working the day we were there was so kind and friendly, highly recommend!

The loveliest friendliest, unrushed service you'll find! The fudge is good, fairly wide range of flavours, and lots of other chocolates and sweets to tempt you.

Every single thing they sell is delicious! The fudge is always delicious and the flavours are a mix of traditional and unique. The staff are some of the kindest people I’ve ever seen and are extremely inviting. 100% recommend (even for people who don’t normally enjoy fudge)

You can easily come into this shop and spend just a few quid but you can also come into this shop and spend over £100 if you got a super sweet tooth and don't know how to stop. If you have kids then you'll deffo spend a small fortune. Great variety of chocolates and sweets along with the fudge. Will deffo be back as soon as I've gone through my current stock of junk food!

The fudge & chocolates are awesome. Definitely going to be ordering more online - don't live close enough to just pop in but that's probably not a bad thing. Chap that served me was brilliant.

Delicious fudge (huge selection and others sweets with good choice as well), very atmospheric place and professional and incredibly kind staff. Could be just cheaper ;) but I understand that is because of tourists

I love this place. I take my son there for a treat after school and did the same with my 19amd17 year old, who still get excited by some sweets! A must visit if your in Hay on Wye.

Loved this place since I was a kid and used to visit almost daily with my best friend. The staff are lovely - always wished me happy summer holidays etc, and have a lot of patience.

Such a shame could not get to festival this year but a delicious parcel of treats from the Fudge Shop was a lovely substitute.

A darn fine selection of some darn fine fudge. I always stop by on my way through. Well worth stopping in!
