Great service, staff was polite and calm even during a very busy period

Got a bargain with some top soil on offer, and a very kind man who served us helped put it in the car boot.

Not been to Wickes for years, as I moved away from a town with it.
Dropped in on the way home and really pleased we did. Just as I remembered, good quality products at reasonable prices.
The team were really helpful and, although I ended up spending more than I bargained for, that's purely because there was so much I'd put off buying from another 'DIY' shop that's closer to my home.
Definitely will be returning.

We absolutely love coming here. They have a good selection (just wish more tiles were available to view in the shop). Everyone so friendly. And we are ok to take our dog in.

Good queuing system with different queues for in store shopping and online collections.
Plenty of staff on hand to help and it's really well stocked.
The store is very clean too.

Click and collect is the only way to shop here during lock down. Order online, taking care to pick the right store, pay then wait for the SMS to tell you the order is ready. Expect 8 hours wait.
The Northallerton store has good parking, and staff are helpful and ready to direct you into the right place.

Yes it's a shed and yes they carry some cheap and cheerful stock as all the sheds do for the DIYers but they do also carry a good range of decent building materials for the trade and the 10% discount isn't to be sniffed at. Quite often better pricing can be had at Wickes than at a TP yard on some products and they're both part of the same Travis Perkins group

Very helpful staff, much better now they've got rid of the catalouge system and you can browse all the nuts and bolts etc.

Everything I needed and cheaper than B & Q. Well set out for social distancing and staff extremely polite and helpful.

Excellent stock and Dulux paint a great deal cheaper then on the Dulux shop on Clifton Moor. I shall return.
