Great selection and bargain prices. So pleased they took over the Wilkos store.

Despite being a big B&M store the range of products in Porthmadog is poor. The store in Pwllheli is smaller but much better stocked. Some examples are beer and wine, chilled food and DIY which are lacking in choice.

Going back a few months Wilko was head and shoulders above this store. Everyone went to Wilko for general DIY stuff and now has nowhere to go in Porthmadog. You’d imagine that B&M would have capitalised on this gap in the local market but they’ve shown a surprising lack of imagination.

The store seems to have far fewer customers than Wilko used to have. It’s not hard to see why.

Come on B&M you can do better.

Whenever I happen to go in, the only till option is the kiosk and always there is a queue. At least provide self service tills if you aren't going to man any of the 4 big tills.

Nice place to visit,been there twice now but nobody on main tills,2 people had left there shopping while I was there because of that.need more people on tills.

dog lovers who want to go shopping with your pets: don't bother coming here! after getting round about 4 aisles, i was quite displeased to be told by a member of staff that this store is not dog friendly. there is absolutely NO signage to say that dogs aren't allowed in. wilko used to allow dogs in this very store. my question on this google page about dogs remains unanswered. so how do you expect anyone to know?

apparently it's for "hygiene reasons" due to food being on sale... wilko allowed dogs and they also sold food. so many shops and restaurants these days allow dogs inside, especially in porthmadog. in my specific case it would've been impossible for my dog to access literally anything, let alone contaminate it, considering she was wrapped in a blanket in the baby seat part of the trolley. however i was still asked to leave. very disappointing.

Not shopping there again. Not as good as other BMs..and very Impolite check out staff, not a please, thank you or a smile...why work in retail when you deal with custoners if you can't even be polite. Staff training needed
