Goldie's Boutique & Spa

We inherited a massive entire dog of mixed breed a week ago and sadly he came with a UTI. Goldies took him in without question (so kind) and worked wonders with him. Eliza, the apprentice, is wonderful and even managed to trim his nails. This team are fabulous! We will be back!

So pleased with how beautiful Fluffie looks after her first visit to Goldies. Really happy also with how carefully she was looked after (she is a timid cat and so nervous meeting new people). I just wish we’d found Goldies sooner!

Having my boy Winston being groomed by one person since he was a puppy, I was very worried when I needed to find a new groomer, I needn't had been as he was so well looked after and he settled instantly and the quality of the cut was amazing, will be using the boutique only from now on, 5*.

Teddy always looks lovely when he leaves...he hates being clean...but it's worth it ..thank you Sarah

Took my one year old British Short Haired Blue for his first groom today at Goldies and I must admit, I was as nervous as my cat Teddy was. We both needn’t have worried at all. Their calming demeanour and professional approach was outstanding and completely put us both at ease. 2 hours later and Teddy was groomed, bathed and nails clipped to perfection. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough for what they have done today. See you again for his next full pamper. You have one happy customer and an even happier and contented cat. Thank you so much.

I can’t recommend Sarah enough! My mum takes her elderly golden retriever every 12 weeks and we are always so pleased! Ruby always leaves smelling absolutely incredible and more chilled than ever! I’ve also started taking my French bulldog here and can’t fault Sarah’s work with him! He’s always suffered with his skin so he gets booked in for a CO2 spa treatment which has been fantastic! A change of food through the guidance of Sarah has also helped massively! We would not take our pampered pooches anywhere else! Thank you 💖

Took my 6 month old Bichon to Sarah today. It’s the best cut I’ve had (already had 2 previous groom elsewhere) really pleased with how our puppy looks. Our puppy was not stressed or crying she enjoyed it too. The shop was lovely staff very welcoming, some lovely treats gifts to buy too.
Would definitely recommend calling them !!!

Took our six month old cavapoochon in for his first groom, he went in looking like a scruffy floor mop and came out very happy, looking like a little prince. Thank you so much Sarah, we can’t recommend you enough and will definitely be back. Andy & Sue.

I struggled to find a cat groomer. I have a 9 month old Siberian cat that was desperate for a grooming. He was treated so kindly and had the most wonderful experience that he was very well behaved. I’m so grateful that I found this grooming salon and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

my cat dave was quite matted and wasn't letting us brush him. we couldn't find a cat groomer in our city who was open/accepting new clients but we were referred this by a dog groomer and it was AMAZING. she did a wonderful job, only took an hour, was cheap, and kind. she was helpful and undedstanding throughout the whole way and even guided us on how to groom him at home. really recommend!!

It is not often I take to Google for a review but it is very necessary to do so now.
I have a lovely sweet natured Persian cat called Lulu. We had returned to the UK from the USA Jan 2020 (just unpacked and hit lockdown last year)
Lulu had been used to regular grooming in the USA and because of all the Covid lockdown/restrictions over the last year and my husband being very poorly I had not been able to find a cat groomer.
Recently another cat groomer near to Plymouth said that they could not bath Lulu and told me to call the groomer in South Brent.
How very fortunate it turned out to be.
Lulu, who is a devil to groom unlike our other Persian Sweet Pea, by this time, was badly matted.
I am eternally grateful for the care and expert job that the salon did. It was, I know a very hard task for Sarah.
A sincere 'Thank you Sarah' for all you did and we look forward to seeing you again with our two Persians on a regular basis.
Since writing the above our other cat Sweet Pea has been to the salon and returned home looking like a little teddy bear. She looks lovely. Thank you once again Sarah & see you again.

The lady that owns Goldie's is absolutely amazing! She has always gone the extra mile helping me choose a suitable food for my dog who has health issues. She has stayed open past closing just to help me- she is friendly and welcoming.

Sarah is amazing with my 2 cats, one of which acts like a feral beasty when she has to go for a trim up. So glad we found her, brilliant service

Brought my two spaniels here today for the first time.
They both look lovely, they smell delicious and they both seem to have enjoyed the whole experience.
They were treated with care and plenty of reassurance. I will definitely be returning.

Took Lottie my cavapoo for the first time very happy she same out looking lovely would recommend will definitely book her in again.

Was recommended to Goldies for my 3 year old Turkish Angora Mya after she had developed some mats under her arms and tummy. I was nervous to find a good groomer as she is a very sensitive cat but I knew straight away I was in safe hands with Sarah and her team.

She was reassuring and put me at ease throughout the whole process and treated my cat with kindness and patience throughout, and put her welfare and emotional well-being first which meant the world to me. Thank you for everything you do, couldn’t recommend highly enough
