North Books is a fantastic independent book store in the heart of Hay-on-wye. They have a fantastic range of books and an art wall with different purchasable frames to buy. I would highly recommend it.

This shop has such a cheery, colourful atmosphere. The member of staff at the till was chatty and friendly. It has a good mix of new books and beautiful editions of classics. For example, I bought Holly McNish's brand new poetry collection and a gorgeous edition of Rebecca. If you love a pretty cover, this shop is definitely worth a visit, as the displays are full of them!

My friend and I had a lovely time at North Books' bookshop breakfast where we had exclusive browsing for an hour as well as delicious coffee and locally made pastries. The experience was a gift from my partner, and also consisted of a £10 discount on a book of my choice. A real treat, expertly hosted by the owner, Jules ⭐
