I loved this shop. I lived above it for many years and was in many states of attire frequenting this shop. Raj was superb. Up to date knowledge of the area. When they knew you liked a product they'd get it in for you. Raj kept that beer fridge incredibly cold and stocked full of scrumpys on a Friday night knowing it was my game night and was thoroughly needed. Kept the shop open after I called from a night out promising a good chuck of people buying booze and snacks. Raj, keep at my friend!

I lived above this shop for a year myself, after my friend who has also written a review moved out, and Raj was always neighbourly, helpful and kind to me during my time living there - and the years prior when I was a visitor. Myself and all my friends miss him and the shop very much! Thank you for serving the community, you are a great man!

Like all the best shops it's the people behind the counter that make it a local institution and Raj has been serving all for years with good cheer and kind words. Every essential from bags of ice to onions to the excellent selection of snacks is here as well as the much-needed Oyster top-up.

As a bonus, if you're a regular Raj will make sure to have your favourites in stock, regardless of things like supply issues. Have a particular snack or drink you like to have on demand? Need a lightbulb or a particular battery? You name it, Raj either has it or will dug it out for you. Absolutely essential service for all SE3 residents

Me and my Father had a puncture outside this shop a few years back, the staff were so friendly, letting us use there facilities while we awaited recovery. Had a few sandwiches and I they were very nice! We are eternally grateful for their generosity!
