Asda Chatham Superstore

Always a great selection of sensibly priced items compared to other big supermarkets.
Very big store, with lots of friendly and helpful staff to answer our questions when looking for items.
Clothes are good quality but a little too high on price compared to some very big clothes retailers
Plenty of free parking.

Very good all round products. Fairly priced with good offers. Clothes are excellent quality for money and a wide range of stationary items too. Cards are above average for a super market. There is a very handy post box inside the main doors and cash machines on left of main doors outside the store.
Staff are always helpful and friendly and always someone to show you to a till with the shortest queue, and are quick to open other checkouts when needed. Also helpful at self checkout's.

UPDATE! 03-08-2023
This store now has an excellent children's cloths department for babies upwards.
It has recently undergone a rehash upstairs and well worth a visit if you haven't already done so.

Excellent Customer Service from Sue in Customer Service. I had left a 3 pack of kitchen towels at the self service checkout after having paid for them. Four days later I contacted Customer Service to ask if they had been found. I was told that they had and as I still had the receipt, I could collect them from customer services. Such an easy resolve.

I use this Asda often because it has a large lot with ample parking spaces and the staff work hard to keep shelves full. I rarely can't find what I'm looking for here. The fruit and veg aisles are always well stocked, and cashiers generally friendly. Most importantly, there's a nearby petrol station and to my knowledge it is consistently the cheapest in the area. Great shop, busy most of the time but not excessively so.

I usually do my shopping here as 1) its close to me and 2) its 24 hours so handy as i work nights. Most of the staff are fantastic (i find the night staff have been the friendliest, especially the 2 ladies i speak to at the self service checkouts)

Having read some of the previous reviews, i can't say i have ever experienced rude staff and there is rarely a delay at the times i tend to go there, occasionally i visit through the day and admittedly it is much busier and there is a longer wait to get items approved etc, but i expect that at those times. The car park and the capacity to which it is filled is usually a big clue as to what inside will be like.

Also, although its irrelevant to shopping, i have seen some of the most amazing sunrises and sunsets from the car park which is always worth seeing

I would just like to say I am so very grateful to your staff on Thursday morning when I collapsed, getting me medical treatment really quickly and looking after me. Also ringing and checking up how I'm am getting on. Also a member of the public on her day of as a nurse staying with me until the ambulance crew arrived (hopefully she will see this).
You as a store should be really impressed that you have wonderful staff.

It's an Asda superstore. Huge with everything you could possibly be looking for and more, well nearly everything, I went for specific dip but it had been discontinued. However this did not ruin my life or even the day as they had soooo many other options to choose instead.

They have got a George clothing and household floor upstairs and I love it. Reasonably priced and very good quality with lots of cool stuff that changes weekly. The school uniform section is fantastic and has pretty much everything you need for your lil terrors.

In the groceries section downstairs they have a large range of fruit and veg which can be a touch pricey, mainly for fruit.

This particular store has a good selection of counters including fish, sushi, pizza, rotisserie and bread. The sushi counter us my favourite tho.

There is also a chemist in store with someone always qualified there to help you if you need any medical information or supplies.

When it's time to pay they have many options such as normal human cashiers, beep and go, trolley self service and basket only self service.

The tobacco counter is on your way out of store as well as a post box and passport photo booth to boot.

Outside in the car park is hole in the wall cash machines, large recycling bins and a self service, no cash petrol station.

This superstore really is a superstore.

As a customer with Multiple Sclerosis I was distraught to find the toilets closed for repair, however, the staff members I spoke to were so so helpful and rescued me from a disastrous situation 🥰. I cannot thank them enough 🏆🏆🏆🥰

Staff are pleasant, polite and happy ,always very helpful. great customer service. Excellent product range and availability on gluten and dairy free products real value for money with great taste.

Clothing is far better quality than it use to be, washes very well and doesn't shrink.

[Grocery Click & collect]. Fabulous customer service from the grocery C&C team today. No sooner had I got out my car and a member of staff was on hand to take my details. My order followed a minute or 2 later. Just one substitution. All done and dusted in 10 minutes. Totes amazeballs. 👏👏👏👏👏

This is a super store it has a very good variety of different brands of food and they're always very well stocked. There is a upstairs department that sell clothing, electrical goods, stationery, Kitchen accessories, and much much more. Everything that you could possibly need all under One roof. Parking isn't normally a issue and there is a petrol station on the grounds also. No need for a trolley coin. Just pull out a trolley and shop til you drop :)

Good store, large with a good choice of food though Sunday's aren't the best day for food shopping as its sparser than other days!

Asda Chatham carwash brilliant service well worth the visit use them very 2 week would always recommend there service to people we know staff r polite and helpful

Shout out to all the team at Chatham Asda. I arrived at 5:30am to a massive queue, the store was manic, but every member of the team were polite friendly and very helpful, even when getting verbally abused at the checkouts!!!! I got the essentials that I needed and left. On arriving at home, an Asda colleague has just finished a night shift and was exhausted, but still was happy that she could help people!! Brilliant service x

I'm very happy with the service and everything else, just I m little surprised to hear that is not 24/7 any more. Is it?

Good store could do cafe and at main road entrance needs junction to tun in left or out right to save going down to roundabouts as store must be loosing alot money because no junction to right left

I have shopped in this asda for years. I always love coming here and it is a bonus that I can get my car expertly washed at the same time. Just one complaint.....I really wish there was a cafe :-) similar to the branch in Gillingham... Just saying!!!! :-) xx

Staff are always very helpful and friendly. Asda shopping is value for money, usually get a bargain. The lady on exchange and refunds is especially helpful, nothing is to much trouble and she is always happy

The attitude of the staff is, more often than not, friendly and willing. Parking is never a problem. Shelves always well stocked.
